Going in to the predicted Snowmagedon 2026 my heat pump had broken, been replaced and the new one…read morewasn't working quite up to my expectations so, I called Broadleaf to see if they had any firewood for purchase. I truly thought this was a long shot with the impending storm and it being the Wednesday before but, I was desperate to find a solution to obtaining an alternate heat source. It was Kyle who answered the phone..."can I help you?". I told him I sure hoped so and asked him if they currently had any firewood and, what was the smallest amount of wood that could be purchased? His answer, 1/2 a cord. I thought on this and said "that's a lot of wood!". He then said that if I had means I could actually drive up and at $1.00 a log pick up what I wanted. I thought on this some more and told him that my vehicle was a low rider so trying to put wood in it would more than likely make it "bottom out" so I said "ok, let's go with the 1/2 cord". I then went through the purchasing and Kyle said "I can have it to you today". I thought "today?", really he could deliver it today? He said as long as someone else came in that yes...I could have my wood today, tomorrow or Friday at the latest but definitely before the storm. He asked me if I had a specific spot I wanted the wood dropped off at and I told him that I'd be happy to come out and show my preferred spot when the delivery came. He took my number and said he'd give it to the delivery driver so he could call me when en route. Amazed with this transaction I hung up. Then, not more than 30 minutes later my phone rang and it was Broadleaf telling me they were leaving to bring me my wood! Can I just say absolutely AMAZING!?! Same day call, same day delivery? Same day delivery before the expected storm? WOW! Let me say that again...WOW! In any case in roughly 15 minutes from their call delivery driver Kyle showed up at my house with the wood! He asked me where I wanted it and as precise as precise can be he carefully emptied the load in as compact a pile as possible in the exact location I wanted it. I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Broadleaf if I had to be! From start to finish they went far beyond any expectations I had...they had the wood AND they delivered the wood in nothing flat! My sincere thanks go out to Broadleaf for not only their incredible service but for restoring my faith in today's businesses. In a day and age where you're feeling like service is declining...Broadleaf was AMAZING! I highly recommend Broadleaf!!! They have a wide variety of various design smoke pieces, with nice sized perculator "water pipes" (BONGS) that go for 249, to legitimate bubblers that can go for 30 (usually smaller at this price). Nice variation in sizes of the smoking pieces and the incents, aromatics, oils and perfumes all smell very good. Don't know where else i'd look for frankincense in this city. Bad stuff is the shirts trend hardcore on the swaggot train and SOME particular pieces are out of the price range that you'd initially expect. But once again overall it's a quaint place with a nice selection for it's relatively small size. Run by initially friendly seeming East Indian people.
