I am giving a 1 star because even though I knew there had to be a variation in flowers and arrangement the arrangement that was delivered was very disappointing. I didn't do 1800 florists because they usually end up like this and called directly from the businesses website! I looked at arrangements on their facebook and they looked rather nice. This looks like something I could get at the grocery store if even that good. I called the owner to express my concern. He got on the phone and actually said " what do you want me to do, I personally delivered it myself and it was fine!" If you compare the two pictures the one I got was definitely not a $75.00 arrangement! I should have just called rooster vane like I normally do i stead of using this business. I just wanted the owner to make it right, wasn't about getting my money back. I hope in the future this does not happen to anyone else. It is disappointing when you are sending it to someone to brighten their day and the person designing it could have cared less.

I was surprised, though, when there was an additional $15 charge placed on my credit card, which the florist and I did not discuss. I called and left a message with the shop, describing that I wished to speak to someone about this anomalous charge on my card. Jamie, the shop owner, got back to me within what seems to be minutes after hearing my message. He was understanding and apologetic, and offered me a complete refund on my order as a remedy. That kind of compassionate customer service is simply unavailable from other businesses. In the future, I will be purchasing my floral arrangements from Mountainside Florist.

So we had to stop, we literally turned around to go here and I'm so glad we did! This little roadside country store had: flowers, garden decor, fresh produce, local dairy products, Amish baked goods, candies, jarred goods, and home decor. And they were starting to get some pumpkins! We left with a few tomatoes, that were used in BLTs the following few days and they were THE MOST PERFECT TOMATOES I had all season, so delicious!! I was so happy I could cry. We also got plums and peaches, both also very sweet and delicious. A woopie pie, we got the sugar one or something, I forget the flavor, but it was ok, not enough filling. Not my favorite thing. Overall, loved this place, definitely worth the stop, best tomatoes I had all year, I wish I could go get more!
