I was…read morecharged $1500 for a new water pump, turbocharger coolant return hose, labor, etc. Long story short, there's absolutely NO difference pre and post service. It's still leaking in the *same exact* spot at the *same exact* rate. I remained calm and returned to the shop and they wanted to charge me another $1500 for the "other" leak. They claimed the first test they did there was a leak in the diagnosed spots but now it's leaking in another area (engine). It was always leaking in this area. What they did was charge me an arm and a leg for parts/labor that had nothing to do with the leak. Their way of "working" with me was to cut the "new" leak fix from $1500 to $1200 - an ABSOLUTE JOKE. This is nearing $3,000 for a small leak that they didn't even fix/quote the first time. I've been babysitting this leak for months so I know that whatever they did was not the main source of the leak. They misdiagnosed and want to stick me with their mistake. I found it humorous that they told me they don't pump coolant through the machine during the tests to save money. They also told me the person communicating with me through all of these appointments and phone calls was new -- good stuff! If I can get a single person to not do business with this place, I will consider this review a resounding success.

For those reading…read morethis in the future, please know, the weather conditions are typical of January 24th in Indiana. Snowy day, cold and wet. My son just dropped off his 3-year old for preschool and found that the noise he had while driving her there was in fact a tire that had, at some point on the way to the school, come off the wheel/rim. Having a crappy phone, he called me (Mom) and I called around and price checked locations close to the preschool. Julie answered the phone, gave me quotes for both tire and wheel/rim, if needed. The cost was better than the other places I called for the tire but - if he needed a wheel/rim, the cost was much closer to what I expected. When I called back to make sure that he would be able to get in today to get it fixed, someone else answered the phone. He was very nice and assured me that although the schedule was full, he would take a look to determine if he needed a wheel/rim once he arrived so the shop could get it ordered from their usual supplier, and that he would work him in today. Less than 2 hours later, my son called to let me know he did not need a new wheel (YEAH) and that he was already back on the road home. Excellent communication, service, staff and pricing. Highly recommend giving them a chance when you need tire service. Thanks Sherwood Tire Staff!!!!

I heard the owner is a terrific mechanic but getting to him through her I said forget and was impossible. Also asked if the could drive me back home in my vehicle which is maybe 5 miles away and the would need to test drive anyway and she said no. I did speak to 2 of my neighbors and they do not go to him because of her. I am new to the area and do not know these people but what little I talked to her I will not go to them.
