They offered no solution and continued passing appetizers and food before we had drinks for our guest. My family had to go get drinks quickly and missed moments of the reception while 3 servers stood in the back. Needless to say our photos now reflect can drinks and water bottles on our elegant tables. The owners take no responsibility for what happened. They advertise as professionals but don't let that fool you. The food was just ok and not worth 4,000 for 67 people that doesn't include tea, water, lemonade as advertised. I was told that was only for corporate events. Wow! Please do not allow them to ruin your day! I was charged 1,050 in production fees. I never used their plasticware, and was given 3 servers that hid in the back most of the time. Of course they helped themselves to the drinks we had to run get. It was the most unprofessional crew I have ever encountered. As well as the most unprofessional owner. She never once called me and she knew I was upset. She takes no responsibility for their mistakes.

Richard went above and beyond anything we could have asked for our wedding and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a full service caterer and staffing for your wedding and/or event. We initially reached out to Richard looking for a vendor to make appetizers for our wedding (we had different vendors for the other courses). He had a wide selection of foods choices, where we selected four appetizers, our personal favorite (and the one with rave reviews from our guests) was the Mediterranean Grilled Lamb Chops with Cilantro Mint Aioli. In addition to the food, Richard offered very competitive pricing on other services as well - servers, bartenders, linen rentals, silver wear, full bar package, and so on. He was very conscious of our budget and offered multiple alternatives for each decision, which was greatly appreciated. Since our reception was at a venue where we could bring our own food and alcohol, it also required us to take care of everything else. Having Richard to take care of so many items was such a huge blessing.

Let me start this review off by saying two things: 1. I am…read morenot a person to write bad reviews 2. All other wedding vendors received 5 star reviews. I will say that the absolute worst part of our entire wedding day was Flavorful Events Catering. When my husband and I fixed our plates, the food was COLD. While we did not eat immediately when the food buffet opened, we did eat within the first 20 minutes of it opening, as the food line was only open for about 45 minutes before the staff carted the food away. Several guest complained about not eating and others went back for seconds to see that the food was gone. We picked the hors d'oeuvres package so assumed that our guests would have longer than 45 minutes to scarf down food then have nothing left to eat from 6:15 until the end at 10:30. Our guests primarily traveled from out of town to attend our wedding, so they were all very hungry by the end of the night and heading back to hotel rooms. Our contract stated that we would be getting bride/groom packaged hors d'oeuvres and bride parent packaged meals, which we were fine with until we saw how quickly the food was picked up. We received 9 partially filled to go boxes with about 1/3 of the menu items we had chosen. So I'm not sure where ALL THE FOOD that was leftover went. Especially considering we paid for the minimum package of 100 adults and only 90 adults present. Had the food been out for a reasonable amount of time, I would have had no issues with the amount of food we received. The food, in general, was subpar, aside from the pulled pork and mashed potatoes. We added a cake cutting package to our contract and were asked to give a description of each cake layer, since they were not all the same. Not sure why, because they only cut 1 layer of our 3 tier cake and immediately wrapped the other 2 layers. So only one of the three flavors were available for our guests. The grooms cake was also cut (butchered). Many guests said they did not want the grooms cake but didn't have other options since the rest of the cake had not been cut. I attempted to go find cake for myself, it was all packaged already so I also couldn't even eat my own wedding cake at my wedding. Once I mentioned the issues we had with the caterer, several of our guests said that the staff was ripping things off the table, hurriedly trying to gather things as if they had elsewhere to be. We paid for a bartender, who was hands down the ONLY good thing about the entire experience. She was accommodating to our guests. But my guest ended up having to serve themselves by the end of the night. According to Penni was a miscommunication on my wording for when the reception would end. On the Monday, following our wedding, I contacted Penni to voice my concerns. She stated that she would need to contact her catering manager and give me a call back. On Tuesday, her husband calls me saying that 'the whole situation was his fault, that he was taking full responsibility for the timeline being given incorrectly to the staff'. At this point I am trying to understand how this could have happened. I tried to ask questions and explain my situation, but he repeatedly talked over me, disregarded my concerns, was unbothered by the fact that I was so upset by this experience, and just kept asking 'what's it going to take to make you happy? Is this enough money to fix it?' This is probably the sole reason I am writing the review that I am, because instead of showing any compassion about us not having a good experience with his company, he was trying to throw money at the situation to make me go away. So while they did send us a partial refund for the terrible service provided, it does not change the situation our guests experienced. Given the chance to redo our wedding the only change I would be making would be the catering company we chose.

We ordered a jalapeños popper appetizer, and 3 pizzas. Price was mid $50s. I really liked their poppers. A bit different from what everyone else makes but tasty with good crunch. Wife and daughter liked their choice of pizza. I liked mine too but felt it had a lack of chicken. Overall good and glad we tried.

The restaurant itself is a cool little joint with tables and a bar at the window. The staff are all pleasant, efficient and professional. The pizzas are all 10" personal size pizza, but one could feed 2 frugal eaters. I ordered a sausage, olives and banana pepper pizza. It was pretty good but not much meat on it (see attached pics). The pizza is made fresh and the crust is good, but make sure you get the crust you want; mine came with some kind of cheese crust which is ok but probably better with different toppings. Overall I was happy with the service and atmosphere, and I will not say the food was bad, it just wasn't my style of pizza, I'm more of a New York style pizza guy (New Haven crust and topping to be precise) so I hope this review won't discourage people from going there. For the price, service and atmosphere this is a cool place to go to, and many other people including my family and friends absolutely love the pizza. (The iced tea is southern style and excellent!) Will return and definitely recommend.
