This is a great local shop that stocks a wide selection of those items you always seem to run out…read moreof or forget to pick up on your weekly shop. They have a good range of fresh fruit and veg, and the wine selection is quite extensive. There are often some good offers on the wine and beers if you buy more than one bottle. In the chilled cabinet at the back of the shop there is a lot of different cheeses and cold meats which are handy for packed lunches. They also do bread and rolls and I have been known to nip here for them when we run out during a barbecue. They also sell tobacco and you can top up your mobile, gascard and electric card here. The staff are really nice and if you want a carrier bag you have to ask for one.

This branch of the Co-op used to be an Alldays. What a difference a Co-op makes. You can now buy…read morefresh fruit and vegetables. They offer French bread baked instore, and a good selection of everyday products. It may be slightly more expensive than supermarkets, but with the price of petrol, why not stock up locally. If you're a member, you get a dividend in the form of vouchers, so it's worth joining and it's free. Co-op is one of the few ethical supermarkets, which cares about where its food comes from. Good place to get Fairtrade coffee, sugar and fruit.
