I often find that they always have a lot of good deals on wine and beer which always helps in the money saving stakes, and makes them cheaper than the local off licence. The shop also stocks a large amount of frozen food, toiletries and chilled items. They even do houmous now which I can't go without. They also do a loyalty scheme which is in the form of a dividend card. The staff are really friendly and will always you help look for an item if you can't find it. The parking on Central Avenue is in abundance and you can always find a space. The shop also has good disabled access.

They do great deals on cases of beer and stock lots of the main brands. They also do some great real ale options aswell although you can buy these by the bottle, they do some good deals such as four bottles for five pounds. They also sell an awful lot of different wines, the whole back wall of this shop is allocated to them. I find that I can get my favourite wine, Blossom Hill, here a lot cheaper by the bottle or if I buy more than one you get even more money off such as three bottles for nine pounds. The spirits are also much cheaper than anywhere else. They also sell snacks and tobacco, soft drinks and mixers. The parking is very accessible and there are always lots of spaces.

Do the math, that's 4x as much as we pay and Diesel is almost 12x what we pay. Still, this was the least expensive place to fill up in Carlisle, UK. And the drive through car wash was needed too, after the car had been coated in sat from driving through the mountain Roads!

There is a great seleciton of products in store, well laid out, and with plenty of space in the aisles, so you can stop to have a conversation without the risk of blocking the entire aisle! I can highly recommend the salad bar both for choice available, and value for money, and the fresh flowers last ages. The fresh meat counter is very reasonably priced too for some great cuts. The staff are very helpful and the queues aren't normally too bad. If they start to back up, there's normally another till opened very quickly.

They offer French bread baked instore, and a good selection of everyday products. It may be slightly more expensive than supermarkets, but with the price of petrol, why not stock up locally. If you're a member, you get a dividend in the form of vouchers, so it's worth joining and it's free. Co-op is one of the few ethical supermarkets, which cares about where its food comes from. Good place to get Fairtrade coffee, sugar and fruit.

The main entrance has a good selection of plants & baby apple trees for sale. Inside facilities They have public toilets that comes in handy for those long journeys. Tesco now have their own cafe's in some of the newer larger stores, l decided to order something to go from here and it was cheap and pretty good value for money, a southern fried chicken wrap with fries was just short of £5. The main store also sells a selection of clothing as well as the usual items that they generally sell.

They do a really good range of wines and have really good offers on beers. The shop is very small which makes it difficult to get in with a buggy but if you shout through the door they will come and serve you there which is great service. The grocery items are quite limited but they tend to stock things you are most likely to run out of late at night. They do potatoes and eggs which are form a local farmer. There is a paypoint aswell so you can get gas and electric, they do all forms of mobile top ups and they also accept healthy start vouchers so you can pick up some fresh cow's milk. You can get greetings cards aswell which are really well priced. Parking is just on the street but there are always spaces. A fab, local, family run shop.
