Hey fellow Yelp users! I went to Forever Yogurt in La Grange on 7/17/24 (Wednesday) with my bestie. This was my first time coming here and unfortunately I came with a full stomach because I had ramen before coming here. My first impressions walking in was a clean and organized place. They had 20 flavors of frozen yogurt to choose from and many toppings as well. Some of the flavors were even vegan which was awesome for people that are vegan. Food: I didn't order anything, but my bestie did get some frozen yogurt with various toppings and she absolutely enjoyed it. Atmosphere: I loved the atmosphere. It was very colorful, great music was playing, and it was very clean & organized. Customer Service: I thought the customer service was absolutely great. A lady greeted us as me and my bestie walked in. Parking: There's a parking lot, parking garage, & street parking which is all FREE. Street parking is hit or miss, so I totally recommend parking at the parking lot or parking garage. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a great experience at Forever Yogurt in La Grange despite not getting anything. I would highly recommend this place if you're craving some dessert after getting some food around the area. The service was terrible. The customer has to do all the work at checkout. The girl "womaning" register seemed like she'd rather not be there. There are a variety of toppings and, sadly, the fro-yo flavor I ended up picking was very watery. Did not make for a pleasant experience. Went to this location with my friends after school. I realized I didn't have any money, end my friend offered to pay for me. The checkout lady watched our conversation and gave me the most disgusted look as she started shaking her head. "I can't do that for you" she told us and then muttered something under her breath. workers are absolute jerks. Would give 5 stars but staff is just unbelievable. read more

I've had consistently bad experiences at this froyo place. The older woman who works there has been rude to me and my friend multiple times and even accused us of stealing without any reason. On top of that, the main guy who works there has sworn at us, which is completely unprofessional. The only time we've actually felt welcome was when two teen girls were working--they were super kind and made the visit enjoyable. When we mentioned this to the older woman, she got mad and acted even more disrespectful. It's really disappointing how customers are treated here. I don't even like froyo the way me and my friend are treated makes everything worse don't go here! (Response) it's OK if you're illiterate we don't judge you, but you don't have to be rude about it. Triple edited to add- THIS MAN NEEDS THERAPY and a good long stay in an institution. Matt, you are truly mentally unwell. Please seek help. This used to be my favorite fro-yo place in DTLG until the terrible way we were greeted and treated tonight, Tuesday Nov. 18th 2025. This place closes at 9PM, and we got there at 8:40. The girl working rolled her eyes as we walked in, obviously because she was hoping to leave early. She already had all the chairs flipped, ingredients away, and was mopping the floors. We didn't even get a hello (she must have thought the eye roll was a customary greeting). I had to ask for toppings since she had so hopefully put them away already, and you would have thought I asked her to chop her own arm off. I hope the managers, owners, and anyone else with a vested interest in the company investigate this woman's work behavior and that disciplinary action is taken. What a disappointment. *Edited to add- this response from the owner is probably even more disappointing than the service we received. We weren't there when the machine jammed, and also that had nothing to do with how you receive guests. That's hospitality and restaurant 101. As for starting closing procedures early, I've worked in about 10 restaurants throughout my life and 3 retail stores- NONE had a policy of starting to clean in front of guests before doors are locked because guess what? It looks bad and makes guests feel unwelcome. When will the management and owners start looking at the scope of their negative reviews that all share a common issue and start to look in the mirror and accept the issue is THEM and not the customers? My guess is never, but I will be reporting you to the BBB, the LaGrange Business Association, and blasting you on every social media platform there is until I see this issue is remedied. I asked my friends to go another fro yo place becasue he closed up all the toppings 30 min early and he intruded on our convo and told me to go to other place very rudely when it was a private conversation. Older lady working here looks miserable. She has a disgusting attitude, and she seems to hate working here. I asked her to please let me pay since my ice cream was melting by waiting for her to charge me and my daughter wanted to start eating her ice cream. She gave me an attitude for asking her to let me pay. She did not say sorry, I apologize, she was just angry. I was about to walk away but my daughter would not understand why she doesn't get to eat her ice cream. Horrible service by this older woman. read more

Forever Yogurt has the standard froyo situation. Lots of flavors, loads of toppings, pay by the ounce. I really loved the green apple sorbet. It was perfectly tart and refreshing perfect for a hot day. They have boba available for toppings which is a nice addition. There were several vegan flavors and few that were listed as gluten free also. read more

Two stars is being nice. We had just finished eating at a place close by and walked in - it was 9:03 or so, so they were closed (though we didn't stop to read the hours, just walked in since the door was unlocked - which is on us). The two guys behind the counter were just talking, didn't acknowledge us or notify us that they were closed. It wasn't until my husband asked if they were open and they blatantly said "no" that we left out. A group was just about to enter but we notified them. I didn't get to try the yogurt, so I can't speak to that, but I wouldn't return for the simple fact that the customer service sucked. This was Feb 1st - and no I didn't get their names. read more

I would give this business zero stars if I could. This store has faulty equipment. The spout is defective and leaks. I didn't know it was defective and didn't notice that it leaked product. Then the associate will berate you for being careless and charge you for the product that leaked. Does that sound like a pleasant experience? No, it is not and that is why I will not return and encourage everyone that I know not to purchase from this business. read more

Don't waste your time coming unless you're a teenage boy because that's the only way you'll get service. We walked in, and the workers were all sitting around talking. I asked if I could see a drink menu, and was told they were no longer making drinks. But as soon as a group of boys walked in drinks were being handed out for free to them. I'm very aggravated In my experience because I looked over at another person filling their cup 2 times the amount I did. I had to pay 2 dollars which in my opinion, was way overpriced. However, the girl with the dark brown/blackish hair wearing a red hat, and occasionally wears glasses when i see her ..had the doors locked at 9 pm when they close at 10!!!! She acted like she didn't even see us standing out there!!!! I'm super upset about this and will not be returning. Hopefully the manager fires her. So, in case you haven't noticed, there are a lot of froyo/ice cream places in La Grange, and they're all located near to each other. I've tried them all, but this Forever Yogurt location keeps me coming back. I've been to this location countless times, and I will definitely continue--especially as the weather continues to get hotter this summer. Pros: -So fresh. All the ingredients have always been very fresh. The berries, in particular, are impeccable. That's not really possible to maintain if the fruit was even over a day old, so I always like adding some of the fruit as toppings. -So clean. Everything is clearly well-maintained. I have seen some not-so-clean froyo places, and Forever Yogurt does not have an issue with this at all. I'm typically leery about buffet-style food (which a toppings bar is similar to), but everything seems very clean. -Great topping and froyo flavor selection. All my favorites are there! I can't say the same for nearby Red Mango, for example. -Attentive staff to give you the small sampling cups. I do remember the good ole days where they kept those out for everyone's general use. I can only imagine that people abused that privilege, which is why it is this way now. Cons: -Honestly, the only one I can think of is that it's a popular spot for tweens and teens, so if you're easily annoyed by big groups of kids that might bother you. (It doesn't bother me, but I'm also a teacher!) Tip: Some of the best (in my opinion) flavors are the ones to the left of the register. Don't make the mistake of filling up too much too early on the other toppings. Also, this goes for all froyo, but be aware that the cups are really big. If you fill it up, it will cost $10+ (and will probably be too much). If you're reading this and say "challenge accepted," then to that I say "you do you." ;) read more

Came in for a quick yogurt with my wife. Standard build your own yogurt bar. Was offered sample cups as we walked in. Several of the flavor options were not available but there were still quite a few flavors. Lots and lots and lots of topping choices. These places always end up being a little pricey which is why I docked one star. If you check in on Yelp there is a small discount provided so would definitely recommend doing that. Restaurant was fairly clean and staff was friendly. Some outside seating options also available which is great for summer evenings people watching on LaGrange road. Parking can be an issue but we managed to find a spot in the mini lot next to the barber shop. read more

Overall, this is one of the most horrendous services that I have ever received. At first glance the yogurt looked like actual shit, I have never in my life been this disgusted trying a small sample from a yogurt shop. Not to mention that they did not give us the proper quantity of serving cups even after attempting to ask for more. Finally after receiving the taste testers, I was able to taste some. The texture of this particular yogurt was in the only way I can properly describe as, sticky, slimy and slurpy-ish. Not to mention, some of the yogurt was not properly frozen. There's quite the froyo competition here in La Grange. Red Mango is right next door but if you have to choose, I'm inclined to go for Forever Yogurt. There seems to be a more varied selection, and the staff is super friendly. The staff were quick to greet my family and offer us sample cups to try the different flavors available. There was even a maple bacon flavored yogurt. Apparently the bacon craze has gone mainstream. No matter how many flavors they have, I always find myself going back to the tried and true, original euro tart froyo. Topped with some strawberries and mochi, and I'm in summer heaven. There's tons of seating indoors, and there's even a wall made out of chalk board which you can doodle on. Fun place to come to calm your stomach and shoot the breeze! read more

Splitting my time between Forever Yogurt and Red Mango has not been easy. Whenever I go to one, I feel guilty from missing the other. I feel the need for a yogurt threesome...Its a complicated affair. If this blows up I risk the chance of losing both. But continuing on, torn between Pecan Praline and Summer Peach, is about as hard as it gets. Since both places are only like 50 feet apart, this is what needs to be done. I'm not hugely obsessed like some people are with frozen yogurt, but I had wanted to give this place a fair shake. There are 3 froyo options within a block in LaGrange, this is my second place I've tried. Go figure, the place was totally empty on a Wednesday afternoon in December!! It was nice for me, because I needed time to survey all my options- there were plenty to consider!! The kind store worker gave me 3 mini cups to try a few samples of flavors. Overall, I found the flavor options FAR superior to Red Mango (I found Red Mango to be very sour/yogurty with their flavors). The yogurt/cup/toppings are weighed at the end to calculate your price, so if you go crazy on everything, it'll cost you. My favorite flavors were the Barista, Dutch Chocolate (OMG), and the Thin Mint. They were the "strongest" flavors I tried, which I loved. They have almost every kind of topping you can imagine as well! I feel like the toppings were sorted by "more kid friendly"- lots of cereal options, sprinkles and gummy candy, and "adult options"- salted caramel chocolates. raspberry chocolate, brownies, fruit pieces. I will definitely return for a lighter fruit option next time, I think I overdid it with the chocolate this time (rookie mistake!!). Cute shop, really warmed up my day!! read more

I always go to Red Mango but they were closed so I took it a few doors down to Forever Yogurt. I always joke how there are a million yogurt places on La Grange so I can see how this one has remained - it's good! As noted in other reviews (I can only compare to Red Mango): place is fairly big, lots of toppings (like twice RM), more flavors and less expensive. The swaths of rude teenagers are a PIA, but that's everywhere. Service was very nice. Place was very clean. This is the last time we will ever be stopping by this place as a POC every single time we have come here we have always been made uncomfortable and not welcomed at all. Today we walked in before closing time which is clearly stated online at 9pm. We enter and are not greeted just looked at however we proceed to get yogurt and notice there is no spoons for any of the toppings. We walk over to the lady by the cash register who was on her phone not even acknowledging us and ask if they had a spoon for the toppings. She proceeds to tell us "We already washed all our dishes" & stays quite we asked what time they closed and she looks at her phone and said 8:30pm which was exactly the time it was at the moment. My sister and I both look at each other confused and tell her we thought they closed at 9pm & she just stays quite. Her actions and demeanor speak volumes as to what our experience was with them. I suggest to save your money and go to another Forever yogurt location where they treat all their customers equally & have some sense of what customer service entails. read more
