We celebrated my wife's 40th birthday and purchased Boost's Express package. The good: the setup…read morewas in place prior to and after the reserved timeframe allowing for some additional time. The bad: 1) The requested backdrop was unavailable. I was told 2.5 hours before the event started and had to choose an alternate backdrop. 2) An attendant was not present during the event which led to less quantity and quality of pictures saved/shared to attendees. 3) The picture overlay created for the event was not available for use on the device. 4) Boost Photo did not respond to an email, sent 5 days prior to the event, requesting the contact information for the attendant for event coordination. 5) No props were provided as stated in the Express package. Overall, I would not recommend Boost Photo Booth Co. to others as they failed to provide critical aspects of the express package we purchased. We had 65 attendees at the event and took hundreds of photos, less than 20 were received in total.

Planning and logistics went incredibly smoothly, as Jeremy is a true professional. Some businesses (particularly photographers), will aggressively nickel and dime you to death with upsells and crazy charges. They hold your photos for ransom, even though you paid them handsomely for your event already. Austin City was the exact opposite. The service included more than expected, and there were zero surprise charges. All photos are available online, in dozens of prints at the party, and on a flash drive. It was very refreshing. Working with Austin City Photobooth for our party was a great experience and a real "party booster". Highly recommended.

The people running the booth were helpful and proactive. The photos are really top notch. I used the booth quite a few times that night and each time, someone was there to help advise us. One of the attendants zoomed the image out for us when we had a gaggle of folks in the photo so we could all fit! To boot - all the images were posted on facebook very promptly. Their booth is always one of the biggest attractions of the evening; this past Spanksgiving at Emo's there was a crowd of people around the booth until the place shut down! Audience and performers alike told us how much they loved it and I saw at least a dozen people make them their FB profile pics within days of the event :) That is another thing we really like; they always post all the pics on facebook within a day or two so we can tag each other and let the hilarity ensue, AND the booth prints two strips of each set so they're easy to share! This year I was particularly impressed by the number of people we fit in the booth at once, and the number of toy shark photo-bombs I saw on the strips! There were a bunch of fun props and hats and what-not, but my personal favorite is definitely the shark! All in all, I'd highly recommend them for any event or party, and I can't wait for next year's Spanksgiving where we'll surely have them again!
