They treat everyone with dignity and understand that when families come to visit them, it's at the worst point in their life. They've lost a loved one, and need help and guidance. My only complaint would be that my loved one died on a Saturday morning. I tried to contact them on Sunday during business hours and spoke with someone who said a funeral director would call me back, but no one did. However, once I called on Monday and spoke directly with a funeral director, everything proceeded smoothly from there. All the paperwork is done on-line. Their prices are good, a big part of this is likely because the office on Millikan (in the City Hall Building in the Beaverton Round) is apparently just a small office with low overhead. The cremation is done through Riverview Abbey. It was done quickly and I was able to pick them up at the Millikan office (you can also pick up at Riverview Abbey). They can mail them to you as well. Obtaining death certificates through them was also easy, as was getting an obituary posted to their website. They are very professional, responsive, and happy to help.

We just buried my father in law here. Every aspect of this process has been abysmal. Aside from the…read morebeautiful location, everything about this cemetery can (and should) be improved. They have no website, no office, no reliable contact. We asked if we could give a check before our service, to which we were told there was no wiggle room other than to hand a physical check to their representative at the service where we put him in the ground. In all the moving parts of the day of the funeral, the check was forgotten and we were interrupted three separate times by the employee asking for a check which we told her the first time we would get as soon as possible. Unfortunately "as soon as possible" was prolonged because it was impossible to get a hold of their representative whose information we were given. It is mind blowing that in this the 21st century there is no website or reliable office number to reach them at! Experience aside, the cost was extremely high. For a small, shallow, urn grave we paid nearly $5000, and they did not even interr the urn, we did! I would not recommend Mountain View memorial in any circumstance to anyone.

I trusted him enough to arrange my own future cremation with Wherity and requested that our ashes be combined and scattered over the ocean. Guy is a genuinely kind man who made me feel comfortable and was very patient when I had difficulty hearing him (I am hearing-impaired). He truly cares about the families he serves and offers compassionate service at prices far more reasonable than many funeral homes--some of which charge nearly double. His approach makes simple, dignified cremation accessible and affordable.
