Quite simply, Shannon is a godsend. In and out of therapy over the years, I've learned what makes…read morea good therapist and a very bad one. I can say with certainty that Shannon is a GREAT one. So how fortuitous it was that I found her when I had recently reached my own personal rock bottom and was in extraordinary emotional pain. Having recently moved to Bend, far from family and friends, I don't know how I could've gotten through this without her. I found Shannon to be instantly warm, kind and non-judgemental. Her empathy and compassion are instantly apparent, but she also worked to give me attainable goals to keep me tracking for success and help pull me out of a deep dark hole. I just don't know what I would've done without her. And while I'm OVERJOYED to state that I have, after a year long challenge, come out of that place, I am sad I won't be seeing Shannon regularly. It is not without her help that I have made it to the other side of my battle. Thank you, Shannon! I highly, highly recommend her. Seen for: private counseling & couples counseling.

Our marriage just keeps getting better with these weekly sessions. She also works with our family members in group sessions that help to deepen our relationships with our children. We love her. Emmy helped me discover where my anxiety was manifesting and helped me to come to terms, accept and be kind to myself. I feel like I have gotten my life back. If you are even a little bit interested in if hypnosis could help you, I suggest going for it! I would highly recommend Emmy and True Happiness Hypnosis for anyone struggling or wanting to improve their overall life and happiness.

True Happiness Hypnosis with Emmy Eisenberg was a wonderful experience. I didn't quite know what…read moreto expect, as this was my first exposure to hypnosis. However, Emmy worked with me to help me feel comfortable and become familiar with the process right away. Emmy's calm, caring, and kind demeanor made the whole experience stress-free, and I looked forward to each week's sessions. I was able to work with her on issues that I didn't realize were occurring from my past that were affecting my current relationships with my family and work. In just 5 sessions, I was able to work through a variety of topics and make progress toward better peace and balance within my life. What I specifically liked was how hypnosis works with the subconscious mind and heals things without having to go through the emotions of traditional talk therapy. What can be achieved in years of talk therapy can be improved in a matter of 1-2 months with hypnosis. If you're on the fence about hypnosis, I highly recommend you contact Emmy for a free consultation. It will be well worth your time to explore this option of therapy!

I was sent to this program as a 15 year old (I am now 22) and am continually haunted by my…read moreexperience there. At the expense of oversharing personal details, I will say this to parents considering sending their children here: unless he/she has a serious drug or alcohol problem, this is not the right place for them. They will experience many teens going through extreme detoxes and learn more about the drug world than any sane teen would ever want to need or want to know. Many therapists who are dealing with youth that suffer from extreme anxiety and/or depression recommend this type of program, but fail to educate parents on why the majority of kids that are sent to these are there for: drugs and alcohol. I would highly recommend a therapeutic boarding school or therapy-based program, but this detox based environment only makes things worse.

If I could give Second Nature Cascades a 0 star review I would. I was sent here when I was 15 years…read moreold (I am now 21), and to this day I am still scarred from my time spent here. The staff are poorly trained and do not in the slightest care about the teens well-being while at this program. One thing that is SO important to know is that if you're a parent thinking about sending your child here for anything that is non-related to a drug or alcohol addiction DO NOT. This program is NOT meant for children who struggle with anxiety, depression and or suicidal idealization. I was sent here for anxiety/depression and this was the least helpful program my parents could've possibly chosen. Upon arrival you're immediately taken to a doctor for a urine test and then brought back to base and strip searched. You're given no direction as to what's going on or what's happening to you and all of your personal belongings as well as your clothing is taken from you. As an early teen I watched many girls experience a drug/alcohol detox and that was one of the most traumatic things I've ever witnessed considering the staff couldn't care less. While I was there my anxiety attacks were so bad to the point where I would stop breathing all together and the staff did nothing, didn't even try to get me medical attention to see if it was possibly something else other than anxiety causing me to stop breathing. You're fed bottom of the barrel food that supplies you with no nutrients whatsoever and you're treated like a dog. I did not feel human while I was at Second Nature Cascades. Please.. if you're thinking about sending your child here because their website looks promising... reconsider. I don't know how any of these wilderness programs are legal.
