We have just switched to Manhattan Fire Safety this month and had a couple of services done with…read moreJorge. So far everything has been smooth and efficient. The price is fair, the inspector and office staff are helpful. I've scrolled through the reviews and noticed that almost the negative reviews are mainly people complaining about their sale's approach. It is understandable one could get annoyed being bugged and persuaded into service he doesn't want or even doesn't need. However, If you are a construction trade company who constantly need extinguishers service/repair or purchases, they are actually quite a good option. Very easy to work with and always on time.

I encourage all employees former and current to report this company to the Occupational Safety and…read moreHealth Administration. Working conditions are deplorable. Manhattan Fire & Safety Corp. Response 09/09/2024 It is unfortunate that this disgruntled employee took the time to attempt to slander our company. We have been the leader in providing ************************* to the *** area for over 40 years. It is upsetting to hear how someone who worked for us for such a short period of time can be so malicious. Most of our employees have been with us for over 10 Years and have had successful careers in both ****************** as well as support technicians. We have recently had a major management change, as well as significant changes to our dispatching and account systems which have proven to be very effective to our customer and employee satisfaction. We continue to strive to provide top notch service to our customers while maintaining a healthy and happy work environment for our employees. This review is not from a disgruntled employee. It is from a former employee who was rendered disabled due to an unsafe chair about which a complaint was expressed and no action was taken to ensure the safety of this employee. As a result, said employee has had to undergo and is still undergoing months of painful physical therapy in order to enable him to walk normally again. It is not a career. There are no benefits...only intimidation and exploitation. It is not a happy and healthy work environment as the company stated. The physical, financial, emotional and mental well-being of the employees is not a consideration. There are no happy and healthy employees on the sales force - most of them have back problems and a couple of them need canes to assist them...most likely from years of long hours sitting in unsafe chairs. They know, and the company knows, that jobs are scarce, so the employees don't complain. They just suffer...especially when they see their paychecks at the end of the week.

For my 300th review, it only feels right to highlight the greatest tap water to ever do it. The Dom…read morePerignon of tap water, the '95-96 Chicago Bulls of tap water, the '85 bears of tap water. New York City tap water, THIS IS FOR YOU! I remember living in the dystopian city of Los Angeles, having to run my tap water through a Brita filter like some kind of scrub. But no longer. I saw the error of my ways and had to make the cross country move to be able to drink the elixir of life straight out of the tap, just like our founding fathers intended. Wait, y'all are still using Brita filters!?!?!?!? Couldn't be me!! ...............................Okay wow I need to eat my words here. I did a quick google search on nyc tap water hoping to find some glowing peer reviewed studies, only to find a full article on why it is not as good as most people claim. Damn. She really did her research too wow. Okay yeah. Idk. I might not even post this now. Here is a quote from the article, written by Erica Digap: "New York's tap water isn't quite as healthy as popular perception makes it seem, primarily due to elevated levels of lead (pb) and disinfection byproducts like HAA5 and TTHMs." I'm about to head to CVS and buy a Brita filter. Thank you, Erica. ...............................Omg I just did some digging on LARQ, the company who sponsored this article, and they market their latest product as "the world's first self-cleaning water bottle and water purification system." WOW I ALMOST GOT GOT! Erica is really a copywriter and they paid her to do this smh. HOW MUCH IS YOUR SOUL WORTH ERICA!?!?! Wow. I'd like to take this chance to apologize to NYC tap water. More importantly, I would like to apologize to you, my dear reader. I almost let these big corporations and their billion dollar media campaigns brainwash me. It won't happen again, I promise. Thank you for tagging along on this live stream of consciousness review, brought to you by a big beautiful glass of New York City tap water. I call them and disconnected their service, I paid their last bill…read more a month later they still want me to pay a bill for new people who live and own this house. It seems that nobody with common sense work there and they are grabbing money from whoever is more scared. I am very happy that I left New York. Now I never want to be reminded this place exists.
