The person on the phone was very helpful and accommodating. I requested a natural, woodsy arrangement in green and white. She asked if I liked curly willow (...do I like curly willow??!! I went to Leo Wood's website and placed an order for a $45 bouquet with a delivery fee of $18, with a total of around $65 with tax. About 5 minutes later, I got a call without so much as a "hello" and was told in a frustrated tone that "I'm not delivering anything to Rustburg for $45! I'm cancelling this and you can order a more expensive arrangement! It gives you a minimum cost on the website for deliveries outside of a certain radius!" I replied, "Excuse me. You are being very rude. I am not from Lynchburg or Rustburg and have no reference on how far that drive would be from your place of business to my family member's home. Also, I did not read the whole entire website and did not have any alerts that stopped me from placing the order. Go ahead and cancel my order. I refuse to do give any money to a business that speaks to customers in this way."
