My review, however, is based solely on Betty Cakes' cakes, as I've only stopped in for takeout desserts and haven't yet had the opportunity to sit down and enjoy lunch and cake at the café. Over the years, I've tried several of their specialty cake flavors, including Easter Dirt, Strawberry Shortcake, and Guava, as well as their Bundt cakes such as Sour Cream Pound, German Chocolate Rum, Hummingbird, and Pumpkin. Every one of them has been delicious. What I appreciate most is that these cakes don't just taste wonderful--they look special. Each slice appears to have been made with care and attention to detail. They're the kind of desserts that make you feel like you're treating yourself to something truly special, as if that slice of cake was made just for you.
