I ended up buying ~20 lb of frosted peanut butter pretzels, which were on sale due as they were "seconds" aka slight manufacturing mistakes. Still delicious though! There's smaller quantities on sale too if you don't want to go all in. There's a museum-type area in the back where they show the old candy machine that fueled the original candy shop, and a TV showing how the candy was produced. Of course, the production is now modernized. There's a large bulk section for candies, and a candy counter. The service I received in the shop was impeccable. If I'm ever back in town, I'll make sure to diet a bit before returning to this shop. It is excellent.

Some of the best ice cream I have ever eaten!…read more Last minute looking for an ice cream cake and Yelp came through with Stensland's. Made the short drive and picked up the cake. Once ready the cat was cut and everyone's eyes said the same thing.... This is AMAZING! Creamy ice cream, great flavor and the desire to shove your face down to lick the bottom of the bowl! Our second trip before heading back home was for an individual serving. 49 choices made it difficult but the Butter Brickle was something I could not miss. Bing Bar was the second. Both solid choices but the Brickle comes out on top. Do Not Miss the Ice Cream!

While the selection is generally very good, and the people generally pleasant, the clerks were completely unapologetic about selling candy cigarettes (and candy chew). This lead to a long discussion in the car and some disagreement about the appropriate behaviour in such circumstances. So, I won't be back. I'll get candy from places that are quite literally less likely to corrupt (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candy_cigarette). So, you can see this a 5-star review as well as a 1-star review, and if you are a proponent of candy cigarettes, they have the widest selection I've ever seen. They are also overpriced, but for the selection it's a good deal.
