It's all on street level and it's easy to walk to the rest of the town from here. We have tried several car parks (Kilmarnock is well served for parking spaces) but this is the one we keep coming back to as it's low cost and in such a good spot for shopping. I find this car park the most useful one for the top of town, for the Burns Mall, Peacocks, Costa,…read morePDSA shop, Kev's Cards and others. Actually, I often park here even if I need to walk the length of the town because everywhere is within reach in 'Killie' if you're on foot. If my husband is with me, we park for free with the disabled blue badge (there are some dedicated spaces); otherwise it's 60p for one hour, £1.10 for 2, or up to 4 hours £2.20 which is very inexpensive for this day and age! It's all on one level, so not huge, but I've never had trouble finding a space here. There's another car park nearby in any case. Either can be found by joining the one-way system. Travel up John Finnie St past the station and then continue round to the right. The car parks will be seen on the right soon afterwards.

There's so much so see and of course, the exhibitions are superb. The building is beautiful too and set in attractive grounds, only a short walk from the town centre. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable.
