I recently had an inflamed cyst on my back that needed to be relieved ASAP.....ouch :( Searching…read morefor a dermatologist, my primary care physician referred me to Dr. Louise E. Martin, M.D.. I contacted Dr. Martin's office and was able to get an appointment within 2-days. During my appointment, right away I could tell Dr. Martin, M.D. was a skilled expert. She gave me a prompt diagnosis and thoroughly explained what caused the inflammation and her course of action to take care of it. She carefully injected cortisone around the cyst then gently cut an incision (tiny) to remove the fluid and buildup. The pain decreased immediately and two weeks later the inflammation subsided completely. My follow up appointment included a skin cancer screening that also went exceptionally well. If you are looking for a dermatologist who provides first-rate care then Dr. Martin, M.D. comes highly recommended. She has a great sense of humor to put you at ease and reassure you that you are in good hands.

She is very professional, non-judgmental, and gets straight to the point. I visited another dermatologist in college and just didn't have the best experience (long waits and I felt somewhat judged every time I went - ick!). I've recommended Dr. Martin to my co-workers and I'd highly recommend her to anyone in the Warren area looking for a dermatologist!

No transparency about how much procedures may cost. I received 2 bills, one from the dermatologists…read moreoffice for $140 and one from a lab about 5 months later for $440. $580 to get an "irritated mole" removed. The provider that saw me barely spent 5 minutes with me, looked at my mole and immediately said she didn't know what it was and had to remove it and send it to a lab for biopsy. My mom warned me this provider may jump to biopsy as they wanted to do a biopsy of a mole of hers (which another derm said was unneeded) but I was worried about skin cancer so I wanted to ease my mind. I would have NEVER done it knowing it would cost me almost $600. For an "irritated mole"!!! I guess it's my fault for not inquiring about the cost, but I had no idea I would be receiving 2 hefty bills in the mail (1 from the derm, 1 from the lab). Apparently this is in the new patient paperwork they make you sign, but I don't remember reading it. So I am going to call tomorrow to figure out exactly what it says, but needless to say I will not be returning to this dermatologist office ever again.

My first appointment was to for her to look at an annoying mole on my scalp...which she froze off that day in office, then sent it out for lab. How easy was that!?? My second appointment was two years later. I seriously felt like my finger was two hand washes away from falling off. Bleeding, cracking, and a little bit of tears -I'd had enough. With samples and a prescription, ease of appointment and care, my hand is now back to normal. (See dermatitis before/after pics) I would recommend this office to anyone!! A personal side note-she loves our community and invests in it. I really hope you consider this office for any derma ailments you may be experiencing!

Making an appointment is very easy, they have tons of openings and sometimes you can even be seen within the week. Katie is very nice and informative of what is happening. She really listens to your concerns and will provide the best treatment possible. Sometimes they may not work on the first visit but she is always willing to keep trying to provide a solution. While others passed on an issue I was having on my face, she had a hunch something was wrong, cut it off, and sent it to the lab for analysis. It ended up being skin cancer! I will definitely recommend Katie!

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience was incredibly disappointing…read more J recommended a filler treatment and assured me it would noticeably soften my nasolabial folds and last up to two years. I trusted that--but saw little improvement. At my follow-up, she walked that back and said the results were only about 10% better. Dr. Ann then said they never should have promised two-year results and offered to "fix" it at half price using filler that was about to expire. That felt unfair given the original promises. When I asked that it be corrected at no cost, I was shrugged off and told to go write a bad review. I left feeling dismissed and upset.
