Utterly incompetent. The number they give you is Central scheduling which is located elsewhere. So they cannot give you accurate location of where your appointment is. Be prepared to wander around Bolingbrook for an additional hour prior to your appointment looking for the correct location. Also, they rarely answer their phone. Wait on hold for 20 minutes. read more

My daughter went in to have a mole looked at. The receptionist was not nice or welcoming at all. The doctor talked so fast and didn't explain things at all. So she was confused and anxious when they told her to lay down and they would remove it. Never explained the procedure at all. Again, adding to her nervousness. During the procedure, blood squirted on the side of her face. So, did they do what she went in for, yes. Was it a good experience that made her feel comfortable, not at all. read more

What started as a simple acne extraction somehow turned into a surgical procedure. Two years later, I was shocked to receive a bill--turns out my insurance didn't cover it. The customer service has been awful, and the billing department has been completely unhelpful. On top of that, they also had a major patient data breach. Overall, a terrible experience. Save yourself the stress and stay far away! read more

I went for a one-time cosmetic appointment to have some moles removed. I was told that freezing them would be the best option and I would pay a one time treatment for up to 10 (?) freezes. To say it was rushed was an understatement. Sit down, lay down, get up, good? Done. As I was sitting up from the treatment, the doctor said something about 'good thing we did that one could have been the start of a cell skin cancer'. And rushed out. The freezing of these skin concerns plus one that was heated off cost me - for the cosmetic work - around 500. Fine. After I paid for my cosmetic treatment, I received a nearly 800 bill in the mail for the one cell. I was being charged for taking it off (the same treatment as all the others) and a first-time patient visit of $400. Again, same treatment as the cosmetic bill for about one second of time. I do know they sent it to pathology as I got a separate bill for that. Because of this, I was unable to use my insurance for my annual dermatology full body check since they billed me for it with this one small cell on my cheek that would have been caught with my full skin body check. I had to cancel that appointment just one month later. My concern is they never asked me if this was okay, and I was unable to go to my full -skin checkup under my insurance as he used it -without my permission or knowledge-- for what I felt was another grab at money. When I called and told them this was not explained nor how I would expect them to handle it, they lowered my out-of-pocket. They did not take off the insurance bill and therefore, kept me from being able to go to my actual skin appointment. It is the only time I have considered taking it to my insurance investigating this malfeasance. This place feels like it is all about grabbing money - as quickly as they can. Highly Unethical. And as I am reading the reviews here, I see that I am not alone. read more

STICKER SHOCK: Unlike every other doctor's office I've ever visited, the doctor's staff did NOT warn me ahead of time about the cost to have some moles removed and biopsied. I assumed it was a preventative service, maybe a couple hundred bucks at most. The receptionist told me "It should be" covered on my way out the door. Well, they billed me nearly $1,900! Coded as "surgery" - lol. It was two short office visits. I complained and she reduced my bill 10 percent. Gee thanks. I'm trying to set up a payment plan but they want minimum $400+ a month. Again, just horrible. I have BCBS insurance, which is decent. Total billing (before insurance coverage) was $5K+. I won't be going back. Be forewarned. Do not trust them to do right by you despite the Hippocratic oath to "Do no harm." The doctor is knowledgeable, but the "harm" will come to your pocketbook! read more

Lol I wonder how many people initially join yelp to describe a terrible experience. Heres my story: I found this office on yelp myself and decided I would give it a try because it was close to my job. After waiting for about 45 minutes after my appointment time for the doctor to chit chat with an old patient, and then with a salesman, I was finally able to go in to see her. The entire appointment lasted, literally, 5 minutes as the doctor looked at my problem and told me what it was in a condescending way, like it was obvious and I was bothering her haha. She then informed me that their office was unable to do anything for me because they couldn't afford the necessary equipment and referred me to a place in the city. So I thought well okay that was just a waste of time. Until a few weeks later when I received a bill for $150! For a referral! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Unless you like paying that much money for this kind of treatment. read more

New patient visit. I found doctor Bharati on Advocates website (tier 1 provider), read favorable reviews of her and her practice and would agree wholeheartedly with the reviews. I found her to be very knowledgeable, patient, trustworthy and caring. Her staff is well trained, nice and they are very quick & efficient with ordering meds and the check-in & check-out process. I would definitely recommend Doctor Bharati. read more

Ok, I'm here to redeem Dr. C - she is awesome. I have been going to Dr. C for about a year now for Alopecia Areata - which I have suffered on and off now for 23 years. I have lived in Chicago for 8 years and have been through at least 5 other dermatologists as well as family practitioners whom have no interest in my health issue other than treating it and collecting money for the treatment. About 10 years ago, I gave up topical treatments because my hair follicles did not react to it. I went on to getting steroid shots directly into my scalp since I was 19 years old (I'm 35 now) Well, after getting treatment with another clinic for over a year with no reaction, I changed clinics to Dr. C who is closer to my work. All this time, NOT ONE doctor told me that there is a risk of hip necrosis in this steroid treatment. Dr. C was the ONLY doctor to have told me this. Then she told me she studied under one of the US' leading researchers on AA and that she has a great resource for advice. She is the first doctor to give me advice on nutrition and anti-inflammatory foods to help fight this auto immune disease. After seeing that the steroid shots were not working, she suggested we try experimental treatment using excimer lase used to treat other skin conditions. Her office even gave me copies of the journal articles so I can read it before making a decision to try it. I did that for 8 weeks and came out, slightly better. Not enough to continue treatment. which is highly unfortunate. The point is, Dr. C gave me options to try and didn't let me leave feeling helpless. I've had some wait issues but only one time was really bad. Other than that, I am very happy with this clinic. read more

Dr.C, Sammie and Melissa always make me feel welcomed at their office. From the moment I walk in, they are quick to greet me and it is always a pleasure talking with them. Dr. C is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to help me. Dr. C is very patient and throughly explains herself during my appointments. I would definitely recommend Forefront Dermatology to anyone! read more

Dr. C is so sweet. Her bedside manner is one of the best I've experienced. Highly recommend.

I went to another dermatologist Basko Dermatologist. Dr Basko and staff really care about their patients. Very welcoming. Forefront, not so much. I had a bad experience and bad advice. read more

Took my daughter and had a wonderful visit. First off, she was able to see us the same day. I tried calling 8 other offices and no one could get us in the same day. She was very nice and helpful. All the other doctors each told us each something different about my daughters rash. Exactly what Dr. C. told us made sense and it was nice to have answers and a plan rather than hearing it's just dry skin. read more

Where do I begin. I did go here two years ago for a annual skin check up. No problems. Dr. Bharati Chittineni did babble on something about the alphabet and skin conditions to watch out for. It was an odd conversation and so impersonal I felt her mind was elsewhere, or maybe she was just uncomfortable...it was a just odd....whatever, she found no problems and I was sent on my way. BC/BS insurance covered everything. Fast forward to this year. I went in for another skin check up, I had no problems but being a sun goddess I do get checked every couple years. I was frozen on my cheek, she claimed I had a little red spot that needed help. I had a little mark on my lower arm that I couldn't even see when she pointed it out??? That had to have a scalpel, shots and testing because it could be cancerous. (Thankfully it turned out to be nothing - but it looked like nothing to begin with....hummm). She found a ruff patch of skin on my leg, gave me (at a price) medication for that....and here is the kicker...I was told she would prescribe me a medication for the dry skin around my hair line. Never had a problem there...still don't and when Walgreens called for me to pick up the prescription and let me know my insurance refused to pay for the $238 cream. I asked them to restock it because I would not be picking it up. I felt like I was totally taken to the bank....like she was looking to bill a good insurance company for items that looked believable. I still have a scar on my arm, which I know would have never been there if it wasn't for her scalpel. I never used the medication she "gave" me because after reading the side effects I'd rather live with the ruff patch that never existed. The $238 cream was a joke! Had my beautician even check it out. I thought it was just me having a bad experience, but after seeing the other post, I wonder if we are the only ones.....Can anyone recommend a good dermatologist?? read more

Dr C. Is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help! Although I had to wait for a long period of time for my appointment, dr . C always makes each appt welcoming. I love the samples the office gives and how fast appointments are done read more

Had an appointment March 28, 2015 for a consultation for Extract laser treatment. Was told upfront I would only be responsible for my co pay portion as this was only a consultation. 3 months later I receive a bill for $170. I have been to plenty of other dermatologist offices that are more professional and will never go back here. Just like some of the other reviews on here I would stay away from this place unless you want to be taken advantage of. read more

Dr. C is kind and everyone in the office is great to me. I do have a wait a few mintues before being called to the back and being actually seen, but then again, thats with all MDs. She got it right an my face is clearing up nicely. read more
