The course is challenging, but not overwhelming, carts are in great shape, course itself is super fun, and everyone from the starter to the groundskeepers are friendly and welcoming. It gets busy, but pace of play is solid. Back 9 is a fun ride that lets you get creative with club selection. Some folks might complain about the sand, but who wants to hit out of the traps anyway? Very personable, very knowledgeable, appears to be a GREAT listener (!!!), relays information in usable ways, and doesn't overload you with comments, thoughts, changes. This was my first time meeting / working with Alisha and the experience was very enjoyable. - Alisha started off our assessment asking me a host of questions, which was refreshing. She asked questions covering my golf experience, my background with golf (and other sports), my goal(s), my golf frequency, why I was there, etc. It was a wonderful way for us to get to know each other. Off to a good start! - Alisha watched me warm up then hit some balls. Good conversation along the way, a couple of "atta boys" during the warmup and swings. Then the fun began. Alisha video'ed me swinging and pointed out some areas we were going to work on. All which was explained in very understandable terms. - Then 3 drills to help a couple of key areas, which I practiced while she observed...extremely helpful and something I could continue to work on. - We talked about next steps, which Alisha left totally up to me...no pressure, no "sign up now" focus. I probably left out something along the way but my assessment was well worth the investment. Alisha seems like an incredible instructor and I'd highly recommend her. I'll be working on the "homework" Alisha gave me then looking to book more time with her.

First was how she improved their swings, and second was how comfortable Maria made them feel. In fact they are already making plans for their next lesson when they come back to town. (They live out of state). Both enjoyed their video playback and were surprised how well their swings improved after just a few pointers from Maria. They are looking forward to continued progress. To summarize, they loved Maria's teaching techniques and her encouraging personality.

We bought several baskets of balls, and also spent money at the Restaurant/Bar. We were having a grand old time, and all of a sudden, the guy from the pro-shop comes out and yells at my kid on the putting green. He says that he was taking too much of a back swing, and making contact with the green with his putter. This beratement of my son made my son hate the game of golf. He feels that he has been banned from the course. I have no problem with an authority figure instructing us as to the proper way to treat the course, but to yell at my son from 50 yards away was not the proper way to solve the problem. The guy could have simply come over to us instead of making a scene, and making my son feel really bad about himself. I vow not to return to this course.

I've been a member for more than a year and have only had to wait for a treadmill once. The gym is typically clean with plenty of machines. It has a separate free weight room that is pretty sizable. The staff are always friendly. Mark Beasley is the absolute best trainer on staff. I would give him 5 stars if he were on Yelp independently.
