John was here to help take care of a well issue. He and another employee were here less than an…read morehour. We were told by John that our bill wouldn't be close to $900 and they would bill us. We received a bill for over $800 with a $500 dollar labor charge. When I called and spoke with Travis his reason for the high labor charge was they had to "prepare" the tuck and we were charged labor the minute they started loading their truck to come to our home which is a 15 min drive. Travis was rude and stated he doesn't care about reviews and he has plenty of other customers . I wouldn't recommend them for anyone or any job due to their outrageous labor charge. Travis is extremely rude and doesn't need any more customers according to him so I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. Update* After my experience with Travis John reached out to me a couple days later and we were able to lessen the labor charges. I think John cares about his business as well as his customers and talking with him is the way to go.

I was recommened EPH for a plumbing issue so I called them, on first vist they came out and…read morediagnosed the issue. Offered me a solution which I agreed with and they said they could come out the same day and get it done. This didn't happen. They told me one date which they then pushed back further, so over 2 weeks after the initial visit they came out and did the repair. They replaced a large section of cast-iron sewer pipes in my basement. Initially, everything seemed ok but after a couple weeks, the same issue we called about started again (leaking through our kitchen ceiling after the upstairs toilet became blocked), and also an additional sewage smell from the downstairs toilet. I called them about it, I was told they would call me back. Nothing. So I called them again and they were 'not sure why a sewage smell would be coming from the toilet'. In regard to the leaking issue, they again said they would call me back. To this day they have yet to call me back and I am done having to follow up with them. I re-seated the downstairs toilet and the smell is now gone, the upstairs toilet wasn't even secured (bolts were left loose), they left quite a mess in the basement too. They basically took the money and ran, almost $3000, of which $2100 was labor and I honestly believe they over-charged for that. They were not at my property for that amount of time. I would not recommend this company, not reliable and certainly don't seem to have any sense of customer service.

I called Sunday April 19, 2026 and the after hour person, Dane, took a thorough message, "What was…read morethe possibility of a service person coming between Monday or Tuesday to clean our fireplace gas insert as well as clean our Ac compressor. We were listing our home for sale much sooner than anticipated." I received a call Monday morning saying they received my message and they could schedule us that day as they had just had a cancellation that was actually for our area. By 11:00 Am that day the service person, TJ came out and cleaned the AC compressor and gas insert and glass. I was thrilled when I saw how fabulous the fireplace looked. Thank you Colony Heating and Ac and Thank you TJ!

2 years ago in the winter, I awoke to a cold house. I was new to the city, so I called around…read more Colony was the first available. The technician was efficient and the price reasonable. However, due to it being a Saturday, I was charged a $250 weekend service charge. The problem was that drifting snow had blocked the outflow pipe. While the technician was at my home, he received a call from my neighbor experiencing exactly the same thing. The technician advised him to clear his exhaust pipe. No charge. I did not object to the technician's service fee, but felt the weekend fee excessive, especially since my neighbor was treated fairly at NO CHARGE. Colony profited unreasonably and lost my business because of it. Dr. Sisson
