First Creek Middle School is the shittiest school around here! I have a 6th grader who completely…read morefailed all year...had a total of 83+ tardies (yet he was at school on time every day due to riding the bus every morning), NEVER brought home his homework, played games in computer class instead of doing work and doodled and screwed off and so on and so on...he had all F's and D's on this report cards all year and failed...yet they REFUSE to make him repeat the 6th grade...i mean come on, he has a 1.4 GPA not to mention he was harassed, bullied and assaulted everyday there by a few fellow classmates and has even had his clothes cut up during PE or stolen during PE...but the staff did absolutely nothing! My son would aimlessly wander the halls and because "they dont do hall sweeps for 6th graders, they weren't too worried about him"...smh! I've googled this school and they have a very bad rap online ESPECIALLY for fighting and a crooked principal ...not to mention too...the new principal mrs. becky owens, has lied to me several times one stating they have no security onsite when they do and telling me "IM NOT ALLOWED TO SEE MY SON AT SCHOOL WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM HER AND HIS TEACHERS FIRST, IT'S IN THE TEACHERS CONTRACTS"...they conceal my son away from me as if she is hiding something or hiding something one of her teachers are doing...all in all i hate it and im never going back with my children. They treat my husband like he is a terrorist or something simply cause he is black and my son is blonde hair, blue-eyed and it makes all of us VERY uncomfortable!! Lousy lousy school and staff!!!

You can tell he truly cares about people and wants to see them grow, succeed, and walk in purpose. The worship is uplifting, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the community feels real -- not forced or artificial. It's the kind of church where you leave feeling stronger than when you came in. Café. Nice building. Found seats. Great music. Intro about belonging. Sermon. Needs more Jesus. Felt Baptist. Giving at the end. Lots of standing.
