Our 2nd night in Hanover found us at Restaurant Anesis for dinner. I liked this place much more…read morethan Restaurant Basil the previous night. A more relaxed atmosphere. We sat on the covered patio & watched as drivers scoured for any possible parking spot. Boy, is parking at a premium or what!!! But, back to dinner. Had the Australian rum steak, a sirloin type cut. It was OK, came with fries and beans. Our appetizer tray, can't even describe the 5-6 items on it. Something about Greek Fish & eggs, an orange cheese that had a very strong taste to it, Tuna Fish - hey, I knew what to expect with that. Dinner came with a small salad bar, one of the few I saw while in Hanover which was nice. I could sit on their patio and wine and dine all night long. Very relaxing & very good service.

All their offerings, from their appetizer plates with dips and fresh veggies, to their rice and breads that were complimentary to the other foods to their meats, they did not take any shortcuts. The service, considering how extremely busy they were on a Wednesday night, was second to none. They explained the dishes well, they checked up on a timely manner and they delivered the food to table in an efficient timeframe given the circumstances. In terms of the nose levels, we were a table of 5 and had a way time conversing amongst each other even though the place on the top floor had about 80 people dining.
