The Moxy is about a 15 minute walk from the airport. They don't have a shuttle. So if you're not keen on walking, there is a local bus that runs about every half hour until about 930PM that stops by the Moxy. You can of course also take a taxi/Uber. I walked, and it wasn't too bad even with large heavy suitcases. Just follow the walking path (it's marked with an airplane symbol on the ground, walking next to the garage and to the street and towards the hotel. It's pretty straight forward. Just note that the street can be kind of busy with cars, so I'd advise on waiting for the stoplights to turn green before you cross the street! The hotel is pretty basic. They provide enough towels for two persons. There is hand soap. No other amenities on the bathroom counter. In the shower is shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Bed was pretty comfy and firm (the way I like it), and the pillows were not too hard (or high)- just the way I like it. My room was surprisingly quiet, so I slept fairly well! In the morning, you'll most likely get a few knocks by housekeeping if you don't put your sign up. They knocked a few times asking when I was leaving- kinda was annoyed but hey I get they're doing their job (and I forgot to put the sign up). Overall, a pretty good experience. Hotel isn't fancy at all, and is more on the budget end. I wouldn't pay more than 100€ to stay here, any more would be too expensive imo.

The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was situated at a midpoint. The facilities were excellent, as were the rooms. However, I encountered a couple of issues, and unfortunately, the staff that assisted me had a rather poor attitude. On the second night, I discovered that the room's safe was not functioning; it got locked, and I had to request assistance to have it opened. This happened on a Thursday night, and early Friday morning, I needed my passport, which was inside the safe, as we were going on a tour to Switzerland. I couldn't sleep, worrying if someone would arrive in time the next morning. Fortunately, they did, and the safe was opened just in time. Due to this incident, I decided not to use the safe again and instead left some money inside one of my bags. Big mistake! The night before my check-out (scheduled for the following morning at 6 am), I realized that the money I had left in my bag, around $700, was missing. That same night, I went to the front desk to speak to the hotel manager, but they informed me that since it was Sunday, there was no manager available until after the time of my planned check-out the next day. I asked what I should do, whether I should call the police or take other actions, and they responded with a very poor attitude, saying I could do whatever I wanted. In the end, I know my mistake was leaving something outside of the safe, but I didn't expect the staff to search through my bags looking for something to steal. The following day, I emailed the hotel manager, who apologized but essentially blamed me for not requesting a room change when the safe wasn't working. She also claimed to have tested the safe, stating that it worked, although it clearly didn't in my case.

Usually we can manage OK without all the special handles etc. The first problem is the lobby, which is up a long flight of stairs. There is no other way into the hotel. My husband went up the stairs, checked us in, then came back down to where I was waiting. An employee went from Reception to a lower level and opened a locked door for us. This allowed me to roll down a ramp, then navigate through the basement and up an elevator to our floor. If I had been travelling alone, I would have to phone the hotel to open the secure door in order to check in. We had to repeat this process when we returned from dinner. We opened the narrow door to our room and immediately decided to ask for an accessible room instead. My wheelchair wouldn't fit in the room or enter the bathroom. The hotel switched us with no difficulty, but at this point we were wondering why a hotel with an inaccessible lobby would have accessible rooms! The room's accessible features were a bit more open space and wider doors. The toilet had no grab bars and the shower was a rounded corner shower that was not ro in and didn't have a seat. We went down for breakfast and found that the elevator didn't go to the right level. The restaurant was down half a flight of stairs. An employee took us around through hallways to a second elevator that went to the restaurant level. We had to take two elevators back to our room. The hotel menu did not inspire us for dinner so we went out. We ate at the hotel for breakfast. I am allergic to gluten so I had scrambled eggs from the buffet, which were lukewarm, a mint, cucumber, and tomato juice smoothie (nice), fruit (cantaloupe, pineapple, and kiwi) and walnuts and pumpkin seeds. The water for tea wasn't hot enough to steep tea, especially because the tea cups were very small. We parked on the street. The staff were helpful with our accessibility issues when we needed the secure door opened, etc. Anyone checking in with a lot of luggage would have to do the same or carry bags up that flight of stairs. I just don't feel that's a workable hotel design. An intercom from the entrance to Reception would make the situation slightly better. BTW, hotel location was a challenge for our rental car GPS to find. Google Maps was better. Watch for white rectangular signs with "nh hotel 2" when you get close.
