I went back and forth attempting to schedule for weeks and tried to book on three separate occasions. When I finally called and someone answered, there was a significant communication barrier, and the call ultimately ended with the person hanging up on me. You're correct that I've never received a service at your salon--but that is precisely the point of my review. I repeatedly tried to become a customer and was unable to successfully book an appointment. My review is about the customer service and booking experience I personally received. If your salon is so heavily booked that you are unable to accommodate new clients, I completely understand. However, potential clients should simply be told that upfront rather than spending weeks attempting to schedule an appointment that is never confirmed. This is the first time I've gone to a hairdresser that actually looks at what is the best for your face shape, skin color... everything. He will tell you what he thinks will suit you. I wanted to chop all my hair off and I've never done that before, so I researched extensively on an experienced hair dresser that would be able to work with my idea. Studio La V seemed to have great reviews. I didn't want to replicate any picture exactly, but rather I wanted to takes bits and pieces of certain hairstyles and combine them. Maher did an excellent job of listening to me, while also repeated back exactly what I wished for. Maher let me take home my thick ponytail that he chopped off! He washed & conditioned my hair. I checked in on Yelp for my free collagen treatment, which nourishes your hair. Then he cut! He was very meticulous but quick. He ensured that the end result was exactly what you'd hoped for. They asked to buy the deal once I'm there as they have to consult my hair, which was very fair. I was also told that there may be additional costs if I needed other services on top of that. As I've used Groupons for hair services earlier, so I was aware of that already and was open to work around with them. When I called to make the appointment, they were quick to answer and it was very easy to schedule. I went for a basic women's haircut which was $75. Lilian was friendly and clearly cared about doing a great job, listening to how I was wanting the hair to be cut. Going from longer hair to a shoulder length cut along with a shampoo and dry all took just under an hour. I am definitely interested in coming back! They're located on the second floor of a plaza with lots of parking, although it can be busy.
