It has the usual High Street names, ie Dorothy Perkins, River Island, Burtons, Claires Accessories, Thorntons etc. they also ocaasionally have small stalls set out in the middle selling gifty type items. They do special events in the school holidays and to promote other keys times, ie Halloween or Christmas. It has an undercover carpark attached, which is not too expensive and is good for when it is raining. There are two coffeee shops in the middle, my favourite is Esquires. All in all, this is a good place to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon, for some retail therapy.

It always seems to take quite a while to be seen, but I find this is usually the case in most Clarks stores. I prefer the branch at Mothercare in stevenage for childrens shoes, or footsteps in hermitage road. Clarks shoes are also very expensive, often costing up to £30 for a pair of tiny toddler shoes, which I feel is a lot. They offer children's shoes in half-sizes & a range of width fittings, which is good, but this means that they rarely have my first choice of shoes available in the right size for my child.

I damaged my brown leather shoes on the day I bought them. I was distraught. I rang the shop and was advised to return them to see what they could do. I received them back today. WOW! They tend to have a wide range of jeans in stock all year, and they seem to always have sale lines with reduced items, so you can usually pick up a bargain. Generally speaking, their prices are quite good value for money. They sell lots of nice accessories too, like belts, hair stuff, purses, bags etc. Service is quite good and queues don't tend to be too bad.
