It's an extremely painful nerve pain syndrome. For years, she was on pain drugs, but the pain kept getting worse and worse. By around 2006, she was taking about 70mg a day of Methadone, and it still wasn't keeping the pain under control. She was literally at the point where she felt like she couldn't take it anymore, and didn't know what to do. I suggested, that as a last resort, maybe she could try Acupuncture.
