I went as a summer camp kid and as a sixth grader. My kids went as Sixth grader and summer camp. We love Foothill Horizons!! The camp uses hands-on education to explore the world around them. Foothill is one of the best camps you could ever go to. The food is sooooooo delicious. When the counselors are so good.

Foothill Horizons Summer Camp is top-notch. It's a five-day sleep away camp and their motto is "friendship, fun, independence, and imagination." They have a different theme every week, providing plenty of options for children ranging from "Peter Pan" to "Summer Olympics." The staff is incredibly professional and caring and makes sure that every camper has a unique and fun experience. Children who attend this camp often call it the "happiest place on earth" and say its the only place where they can truly be themselves. You can't beat Foothill Horizons. read more

My son attended the camp summer of 2015. The theme (Elf) was childish and boring. The counsellors were unprofessional (swearing repeatedly) and cruel by taking his care package. I would not recommend this camp. read more

I have experienced the worst customer service from a non-profit organization ever. Due to schedule conflicts, I had requested swapping my kids's camp week. I were not informed on financial consequences clearly upfront and was charged for $150 while my kids were both still enrolled in the program. I agreed on $75 but felt that $150 was excessive especially one of the changes was due to the miscommunication. But after several emails back and forth, the manager didn't admit any wrong doing in their side and blamed me for not reading their terms. Unsatisfied with the dispute, we decided to cancel both kids' registrations and paid another $150 for cancellation fee. I don't feel comfortable to send my kids to a camp with such attitude toward customer service. There are a lot of hype about this camp, but we don't think it is that outstanding. There are other camps that genuinely care about family and kids than the almighty $$. read more

My grandson just got back from 6th grade outdoor ed at Foothill Horizons. He says it's the best thing for kids. They explored, went on night hikes, and played a lot of fun games. He says the best team was Willow. They played fun things! He wants to go again. "It's the best thing for any kid, bring your sister's and brother's." read more
