I was seriously considering surgery right before my husband referred me to Dr. Andrew Hsu. Dr Hsu did great work for me -- he "fixed" my shoulder to the extent that I have just some minor pain and discomfort now! He also treated my neck and upper back tension and that helped me feel much better during the day and sleep better at night. It does take a while ( a few months) so it's not like taking a pain killer (which Dr Hsu is strongly against) but if you take the time to go through the process and work with him, the payoff can be great! Highly recommend this doctor!

After the acupuncture treatment, my lower back pain improved significantly, and I felt much more comfortable. The treatment was relaxing, and I was surprised by how effective acupuncture was for my back injury and pain relief. Dr.Jean was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand where my pain was coming from. I also really liked the combination of acupuncture and cupping treatment. If you're looking for acupuncture for lower back pain, back pain, muscle tension, or pain relief in Arcadia, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. I'm very happy with the results and would come back again!

I had been getting massages, which helped a little bit, but the positive effects soon wore off after just a few hours and I was back to square one. I was a bit hesitant to try acupuncture and cupping, but called Mei for a medical massage and she recommended the combination therapy (acupuncture, massage, and cupping), which I tried and the results were literally magical. I definitely had to relax and surrender to the process, and was well rewarded for it. In one session, my pain was gone and now I'm in the process of continuing my treatment with Mei to fix the root of the problem. When I asked her how often I would need to come back, her response was, "until you are better." It is so rare to find a practitioner whose goal is to actually heal you and treat the problem. Mei has 25 years of experience and keeps up with the latest developments in medicine. I can't express my gratitude for finding a solution to what I believed/was told was a hopeless situation (unless I wanted to have surgery). I feel so much better both physically and mentally. My husband saw the difference immediately and in spite of being afraid of needles, is so convinced by my evident improvement, that he will be seeing her soon for his chronic lower back pain. I can't say enough good things about Mei, she is truly talented and a dedicated healer. I'm so glad I found her and I will be sending everyone I know with pain issues her way! In addition to all of the above, she is professional and I feel I can completely trust her judgment and skills.

This was my second visit for a foot massage here…read more My first visit was with a male therapist (unfortunately I didn't catch his name), and it was excellent. I left generous gratuity after that session and was fully prepared to do the same again, as quality service should always be recognized. That positive experience is the only reason I came back. I am a former massage practitioner myself, and I can say with confidence that during the second visit another therapist showed no understanding of basic muscle anatomy. The pressure felt random and was applied to unsafe areas of the back, including direct pressure on the spine and bones instead of working with muscles. While I was lying face down, excessive pressure on the neck area caused my throat to feel compressed and made it difficult to breathe. At checkout, I left a tip that reflected the quality of the service but still 18%. Staff openly discussed it in their native language right in front of me and then told me there was a "minimum tip" requirement, creating pressure to pay more. This is unacceptable. Similar experiences have been mentioned by other reviewers as well. I believe all clients deserve the same level of professional, respectful service, regardless of who they are and what language they speak. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Service quality is inconsistent, and pressuring clients for tips is not okay. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place and will not be returning.
