He shares scripture straight from the Bible and the congregation is encouraged to study and explore the meaning for ourselves. FFC is a spirit filled church where everyone is accepted and welcomed! Because I frequently forget that Yelp now reviews places in general and that I don't leave enough positive reviews, here we go. I've attend FFC for 26 of the 27 years of my life, and it has ultimately shaped me into the Christian I am today. The greatest things I've learned from Pastor Mike, Beth, and all the extraordinary leaders/volunteers at this church is how to know God, enjoy Him all the days of my life, and how to love others because He first loved me. And because of Pastor Mike's teachings on faith and uncompromising boldness, I confidently walk with Christ unashamed of His gospel. I'm not a big reviewer of places, but I read a review that someone left about our church, that is one of the crazier reviews I've read. The person apparently went there for years, leaving in 2008. Why would he just now, after all these years, write the review? Sounds totally fishy. I have gone to Foothill Family Church since 2000 and am still attending. I chose this church for the fact that Pastor Mike Webb teaches the Word of God so well. I loved that he was soft spoken, no spotlights or fog machines, NEVER begs for money, the most down to earth , un-slick Pastor! He's a little quiet, but when you talk to him, he's the best listener ever. He quietly thinks about what you're asking, and simply responds with the Word of God. Never his opinion. If I need some wisdom, give me the Truth, not your opinion. The review that this man gave is as far from the truth as can be! I don't even believe this person went to our church. BTW, there is no perfect church, but there's no place in my area of Orange County that I would rather go to but Foothill. read more

I've been going to Foothill since 2006. Before that, I didn't attend church. I didn't read the Bible. I had a little knowledge of Jesus, but not much. I was not raised in church and it showed. My life was very different from where I am today. I would not have guessed that Foothill was the right church for me because on the surface everyone looks pretty normal and it would be easy to assume everyone here was raised in church (as in: they've never experienced "the real world".) So, I say that because looks are deceiving. Foothill people are just cleaned up. They have put off the old life and have put on the new life...spiritually, emotionally and physically. I say this because I've heard people make comments...most people at our church look like they have some money, they aren't tatted up, they aren't rough around the edges...and that makes people think that we're just sweet, naive Christians. And for people coming from drug addictions, sexual addictions, party lifestyles, etc., they may be thinking they're in the wrong place. The reality is that in order to overcome the old life you need two things: The Word and people who are strong in the Word. Those are the two most notable attributes about Foothill. I would have never overcome some serious problems in my life had I not been surrounded by strong Word based teaching and strong Word-based people. You will only go as high as those who influence you. It is not enough that God wants us out of darkness; He wants us completely full of light. If you are coming from a very broken past, this is the church for you. Not because we have recovery groups, home groups, and people who smile at you; but because the Word, which is what will save you, is preached and lived to a very high degree. This is the greatest church ever. We have a Spirit-filled Pastor who follows God in everything he does. Pastor Mike preaches the Word of God, not his own opinion like many others do. I'd been to several churches before finding Foothill Family Church and none of them were good. But I knew that I'd found my church before Pastor Mike even started teaching that first Sunday I'd attended. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly and really like a giant family. And that is still the case today, about 11 years later. The church staff are very helpful and friendly, and the volunteers during the different services are as well. You can ask anyone there a question about an upcoming activity or where they can find something and if the person you asked doesn't know, they'll direct you to someone who does. I've never been to a more welcoming church-or place for that matter-than Foothill Family Church. We are Spirit-filled and Spirit-led and Our purpose is doing God's will. read more
