During that time, one of the clinic…read moreemployees was involved in a personal criminal matter with her outside of the office, ultimately pleading guilty and entering a diversion program. After the employee became aware of my mother's identity, we later discovered through the patient portal that the employee had accessed my mother's medical records, including urine drug screen results. Shortly after court proceedings related to that criminal case, my mother was discharged from the practice and was told it was due to a "conflict of interest." We contacted the practice seeking answers regarding the employee's access to records, the circumstances surrounding additional testing, and the basis for the discharge decision. Unfortunately, rather than providing transparency and accountability, the practice's handling of the situation left us with more questions than answers. Patients deserve confidence that their medical information will be protected and that concerns involving potential conflicts of interest will be thoroughly investigated and addressed. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

I called and they wouldn't put it thru. Later I got a bill after a year of being seen and it wasn't even correct! They had overcharged me and I went in and spent over an hour teaching the woman basic math to correct the mistake. Then I saw a copy of the bill and they had written horrible things about me on the bill!!! I was horrified you'd think they would have more compassion for a single Christian woman not from the area trying to help her son and not throw her money away do to not having efficient people. Don't be an outsider from out of town as you will not be welcomed. They will judge you. Then they claim to be Christian with their holier than though music. Maybe some of them are but some of them aren't.

We entered into a contract with HomeCare Assistance on November 7, 2025. My 80-year-old mother is…read moreterminally ill and my 81-year-old father and my family needed some assistance. We felt good about Tommy Anderson during his home visit and signed a contract to begin care on Monday, November 10, 2025. During our home visit with Tommy, it was emphasized several times about their extensive background checks of their caregivers and the contract even went further to say that they evaluated caregivers in other ways, such as psychological testing. The very first night, a caregiver came into our home, whom we liked immediately, but we discovered that she stole four diamond rings from my mother and my father's University of Alabama A club ring. We filed a police report and after 48 hours of me pleading and appealing to this caregiver, she returned the rings to me at my home. When we discovered that the rings were missing, we immediately did a simple Google search and found two mug shots of this caregiver and the police told us she had ten or more prior arrests, and that this company had dropped the ball. She had arrests as far back as 2021 until recent. I was told by Tommy and another employee that they did not understand why those did not show up on their background check. What an insult to my intelligence. Please beware of Home Care Assistance, because they obviously did not vet this employee at all.
