Footasylum on Lands Lane is probably one of the nicer and more spacious branches of the chain I've visited, I often find their branches to be small, dark and really claustrophobic (too narrow, close together) but this branch in Leeds is really different and is possibly even an example on their other stores on how to do things, one which I hope my local branch in the Manchester Arndale will take note of during their ongoing period of renovation to their current unit, which expands into the former mall unit previously occupied by Vision Express.
Back to this store - it is in a rather good location within a short walk of basically everything in the city, opposite Ask and just outside Trinity Leeds on Lands Lane.
The selection is mainly specialising in trainers but they did have some nice footwear - I noticed prices are slightly higher compared to sister brand JD Sports.
The staff in the store did seem okay, but they did seem understaffed in general.
The setup of the store involving a step half-way through in-between two sides was a little strange and awkward, however, but that still doesn't stop this store getting a solid three-star rating, as despite being excellent for Footasylum standards, it is pretty much decent/average in comparison to others. read more
