We stayed downstairs over my the shoes. They had alot of the Adidases and Nikes out and they look really nice, but alot of the other brands were kept in their warehouse and you must use the kiosk to request them to be brought out to try on. Once he did that I thought it would take awhile for them to go get them and hand them over, but it was maybe 5 mins or so and they were very polite about it. He tried two pair on and chose the pair that closely matched his uniform. He gave the other pair back and we took the other to the cashier, nothing to note about purchasing them, just fast and polite. Seems fine to me.

Dustin was lovely to speak with, very friendly and knowledgeable! They have a machine that you step on and it scans your feet and I mean the entirety of it. It even shows when you walk if you have Pronation or Supination. They have insoles that can help provide support for your arch or more padding if you need more if you stand for long periods. Essentially you'll be leaving with a pair of shoes that will have you feeling amazing when walking/standing/running - all depending on your needs! Now let's be honest about cost and price - the brooks we got were just over $100 a pair. If you're going to spend money on active shoes, might as well spend it right the first time around. We got their club membership which is $30 a year and it DOESN'T automatically renew!!! There's lots of benefits to having the membership like %10 off each individual item you're purchasing. This store does not carry Lululemon because there is one in this mall. However, the Baymeadows store can and does carry Lululemon. My visit lasted no more than a few minutes and it did not lead to any purchases. The staff were fantastic though.

This American Eagle Outfitters is a really big space in the avenues mall. I really like coming here as I like going to the St. Johns town Center. Keith Beverly, the store manager, has done a wonderful hiring process with the people who represent the store. Not only did the store look, feel inviting, and the merchandise colors for spring are on point with the palate that's in magazines and on runways. There was a new floor set performed and I must admit it was quite well done. The sizing, merchandising, visuals, pricing, and streamlining of the visual flow was impeccable. Not a shirt, jean or short not displayed to the planogram I'm sure of it. Of course the discerning internal eyes of the staff can see what the shopper doesn't but the store looked beautiful. I can tell that this is mostly a new crew of employees. I also know that Mr. Beverly runs a very tight ship. He is very customer centric and I'm sure finding the right staff members take time. I know because I use to take my time and finding the right representation. His staff had the right balance of the customer approach, tasking and recovery, and pleasantries.
