Everytime I use Foodora I swear it's the last time. In March I ordered food to Karolinska Sjukhuset, old entrance. The courier marked the food as delivered. We didn't recieve the food and Foodora could track them and see that they had never been to the Karolinska area. A half year later I ordered a food delivery from Foodora again. The initial time was 45 min. After 50 minutes I got an update that they were 20 min late. After another 30 minutes Foodora cancelled my delivery because of "Technical issues". 10 days still no refund So this is a horrible experience. It started with my order from a restaurant that took 3 hours to get to my door, mind you this was from midnight til 3.26 am when my food arrived. I was in contact with the store and they were rude etc etc , I asked for a refund and was told I'd get that from Foodora. Contacted foodora a couple hours later (in the afternoon) it says they'll reply in 24 hours, 48 hours later and no reply I open the chat. The girl Alexandra promised full refund within 1-3 days. Now you see, that was 10 days ago. So I contacted them AGAIN , after 24 hours no response I open the chat again, this woman Wilma is rude and takes her sweet time looking at the errand saying there had been some error but my money will be in my bank in 3 days (again). I want to talk to someone, and I tell her as much. I'd wish to speak to someone who can explain why this is happening, instead of that she offers me a 50kr discount on my next order. I calmly explain that I won't use this service ever again and I understand it's not her fault but I want to speak with someone who can just explain to me why and how this even happened. And she just left the chat, so I can't answer or contact them anymore :) Normally I am not this type of person and I know there isn't much to choose from delivery-Wise in Sweden but please choose whatever services available BUT this one. read more

I've been using this service for a few years, & in late Nov they were acquired by OnlinePizza. Its been totally downhill ever since: my 1st order was never delivered, & for 5 weeks have been promised a refund, repeatedly. Nothing, & they now consider it 'solved': Hi Adam, I'm sorry about this. As we merged the companies foodora, onlinepizza and hungrig we changed platforms and in the midst of all this we have ahd some technical problems which has delayed the refunds. These issues are now finally solved and as of today the economy-department are processing all the delayed refunds. In my experience, Foodora is the worst food delivery service in the Czech Republic. Either your order is cancelled without any explanation after you've already been waiting for half an hour or your food arrives an hour later than initially scheduled, cold and dry. read more

Foodora är verkligen sämst - använd aldrig foodora. Jag har råkat göra det misstaget några gånger, och jag tror aldrig jag fått mat levererad till mig som är ätbar. Alla konkurrenter till foodora är bättre. Senast fick jag min mat supersent - så pass sent att restaurangen hade stängt 1.5h innan maten kom hem till mig. Av förklarliga skäl var maten oätbar, och i kontakt med kundtjänst blev jag anklagad för att ljuga och sedan stängde de chatten. Det låter larvigt - jag vet - men foodora begår typ bedrägerier alltså.. håll er borta gott folk! Foodora really is the worst - never use it. I've done the mistake a few times due to the selection of restaurants - however i have never gotten anything edible delivered. All competitors to foodora are better. I got my food super late - the restaurant had closed 1.5 hours before i got my food delivered - and the customer support asked me for pictures and told me they couldnt see the food was spoiled - they accused me of lying and abruptly left the chat. HORRIBLE!!!! Tried Foodora in Amsterdam where I live. Their live tracking claimed order was received and it would be delivered in 45 minutes. After 20 minutes, the time had changed a few times, gone back to 45 minutes, and so I contacted their customer care. Which took another 10 minutes because of the queue. Then a very friendly chat bot or person (who knows) told me they had called the planners and it would arrive in 30 minutes. 4 minutes later the ticker told me the whole thing was cancelled. I reached out to customer care again, and they apologized. Gee - how nice. And when I asked if I would get my money back, they said of course in a few days. A few days? You can take my money instantly for a service you can't deliver but you can't return it? Deliveroo is much more reliable - and apparently more honest about delivery times etc... read more

Just wanted to share my story so that everybody is aware of the quality of customer service. I ordered a pizza and pasta from foodora today. The delivery came late with a cold pizza and forgot to bring the pasta! I talked to the delivery boy and a couple of people at the customer service. The best thing they came up with is to refund me the price of pasta in 5 business days. They even didn't accept to refund the delivery fee. I am going to make a complaint to the relevant authorities here in Sweden but wanted to share this, so everybody knows. Here's the last email I got from a supervisor in the customer service. """ Again we are very sorry that one of the products did not arrive. Regarding the delivery fee, since the food was delivered to you we are not able to refund the delivery fee. I had 2 orders which I had terrible experience with. For first one, it was mentioned that I am gonna get my order in about 25 min, but I got it after 2 hours, 2 hours! For second one, delivery time was mentioned as 40 min, now it says it's gonna take 83 min. And for both, I can not cancel orders because it says the restaurant accepted my order requested. Did the restaurant or Foodora tell me that the orders would take that much time to deliver before I pay? NO! Then you have to let me cancel it. No more Foodora, just wanted to give a second chance but you failed, hardly. read more

I was shorted on my order with foodora. They refused to give me a credit and instead only a voucher. They wouldn't escalate through chat to a supervisor and was told I had to email the supervisor. Who does that....how absurd. Dont use Foodora and use Uber or someone else. these people are thieves. read more

This is the worst delivery service I have ever used. EVER. These people have no business being in business. They send me this voucher for free delivery on my next order. So I log in, order two items for a total of $14.90. They tell me it has to be minimum of $15 or I pay the difference. Ridiculous to me, as the difference was 10 cents. I opted to pay the 10 cents. But when I went to enter my voucher number I get a message telling me oh no -- I have to order another meal. I am ten cents short. I spend AN HOUR on the phone trying to get the situation resolved. What's the point of a voucher if I have to order a third meal to save on a delivery charge?! Their answer is sorry -- that's the system. But our manager can fix this for you. Since it was too late for me to order my meal now, I asked if I could contact them on Monday. They said yes. Now it's Monday, and TWO HOURS after I contacted them, hoping to order lunch. They could be making a fortune off me as I love this thai restaurant. But no -- they'd rather ignore my emails. I did get one or two muddy replies, but it's been almost 2 hours since they last bothered to reply. Apparently they aren't eager for new business. Let's oblige them. read more

I ordered from Foodora a few months ago and recently placed a new order. Since it's been a long time since my last order, I forgot why I don't like them. While they have a nice selection of restaurants, their delivery is slow. When I placed an order, the app told me that it would take 33 minutes. It actually took close to 1.5 hours. I've had this problem with them in the past, too. Delivery times are at least an hour, usually closer to 1.5 hours. If you're really hungry, use a different service. read more

My foodora account was hacked and a $44 order placed across the country. I reported it immediately to Foodora. It went three levels up the chain and each time I was told to report it to the credit card company. It was their account error and they should have taken responsibility to reimburse it. Worst experience and customer support I've ever had. They should feel ashamed.

I had a terrible experience with Foodora this weekend- I would never write a review but I want to warn others. My account (it seems like I am one of many this has happened to) was used over the weekend to debit my account numerous times accounting to over $250 in charges. I was only notified when a vendor called me to confirm an order that I never made. I tried to engage with the chatbot but no one got back to me- I called my creditcard company to cancel my card as there was no one on the other end to stop the charges. I emailed Foodora asking for an explanation and I got a bounceback saying all urgent issues would be resolved in 20/30 minutes----later that day another attempt was made to order however because my creditcard was cancelled they were not able to complete the order- I emailed them AGAIN asking what was going on. Almost 24h later I am met with a curt email 'We're also able to provide a refund in this case; however, our payment team would need a statement of fraud (report of fraud) from the credit card company for the refund to be approved.' I asked to be escalated to management and for a phonecall and 8 hours l get a call from a blocked phone number. I asked how my information was accessed and was told that it was most likely from a LifeLabs data breach. So disappointed by the lack of customer service and professionalism. You are in an extremely competitive market- I can't think of any reason why you would be okay with having such terrible service. read more

I accepted and it directed me to the menu, insinuating the offer is only available if a purchase is made right then. So I ordered and they didn't apply the $5 rebate. I have never written a review before- but their service was so incredibly dreadful that I feel obligated to pass my experience along. I placed my order and realized I made an error. I contacted Foodora instantly and asked to cancel my order because I made an error and wanted to re-send. They didn't get back to me for 15 minutes- by the time someone acknowledged my request they said there was nothing they could do because the restaurant had already accepted the order. The restaurant accepted the order about a minute before foodora responded to me- so there were a good 12 minutes where they could have helped me out and canceled the order. "Alan" just kept repeating that there was nothing I could do because the order was accepted. There is actually a lot that this service could have done. A) refund the order B) allow me to use my credit that I had on file C) give me credit for next time D) Give me a discount E) not be rude to customers. Instead of any of those options- they basically said I'm out of luck. Seriously, just use Skip the dishes- This service does not care at all about the customer and it is way more trouble than what it is worth. read more

Terrible service. They first said it would take an hour, then after an hour passed we tried to contact the restaurant. They said the food was ready but the driver never showed. We tried to contact Foodara, waited, and didn't get a response. More time passes and then they cancel our order. I won't ever use Foodora again. Disappointed. read more
