The tables and seats are arranged cafeteria-style, with all the vendors surrounding the dining area. It wasn't too busy around 12 PM, so I walked around the different stalls to get a feel for what this food court had to offer. Thankfully, I didn't have to think too hard about what to try because one of my friends is basically a Flushing food expert, despite not even living in NYC. While there were at least 15 vendors, we only grabbed a few bites from three of them since these were my friend's favorites: - Fat Cat Flatbread 胖猫锅盔 - Liang Pi Wang 凉皮王 - Xie Bao Crabhouse 蟹宝 The food came out pretty quickly after ordering, and these three stalls awakened our stomachs in preparation for more delicious food to come. Overall, I liked that New York Food Court had plenty of seating and felt much more lowkey compared to the crowded and overwhelming New World Food court nearby. It's a convenient place to sample food from multiple vendors without having to fight for a table.

The best thing to do is point if something fancies your eye. We tried the "taco like" dumplings. They were freshly made. The lady steamed them and they were very good. This place is every claustrophobic person's worst nightmare. Walking around to see what each stall had to offer was difficult with swarms of people constantly moving around. Fortunately, we were able to find a table for four to eat our food. We tried food from three vendors, which gave us a nice variety: - Liu Liu Sheng Jian 六六生煎王 - Nai Brother 奈哥 - Tarim Uyghur Food There are at least 20 vendors at this food court, with more options than we could possibly try in one visit. With so many people, I quickly became overwhelmed by how busy it was. Still, I'd definitely come back to try some of the other vendors, but probably on a less busy day!

Made my stomach feel not so clean after but it was good! The soup dumplings were okay, I don't think it's the best or worst I've had. The food court has no reception and can get very packed, especially since this place gets talked about a lot. The food court also has cool vending machines with blind boxes that are sometimes hard to find which is nice. If you live here it's pretty convenient place to stop by.

It's important to note that food options at Tangram are abundant, but the food court is an entirely different animal. As of right now, September 2026, the current food options are: Bao's Wok Birria Landia Cafe Maiko Cruncheeese Da Wei Mei Shi Ganblaze BBQ House Hua Shoo Shoo I'Milky Joju Mamie's Yogurt Na Tart NonLa Express Sing Choi Kee Soft Swerve Birria Landia (#1) is a slight outlier in that it's one of the only non-Asian options and this is their first brick and mortar location outside of their popular food truck in JH. Soft Swerve (#2) will most definitely give Cafe Maiko some competition with the soft serve as a must-have dessert option. Joju (#3) has been a household name in Queens for years, but their presence, along with NonLa Express is a testament to how Viet-starved most New Yorkers are. JoJu will likely be the most highly rated out of every business here and for good reason: their sandwiches are packed, the customer service is great, and the prices are reasonable. Chinese is usually the most abundant for obvious reasons with options from Hong Kong to Xinjiang. Sing Choi Kee showcases the HK cafe side, Ganblaze for daytime Chinese skewers, Da Wei Mei Shi is all for the dim sum, where as Hwa Shoo Shoo is the famous Xinjiang noodle chain. Places have come and go, but the current state of Tangram indicates the future looks bright. All other food courts have skewed Chinese, but Tangram is clearly the option for something a little different. Here's hoping for more consistency and tastier options down the road. ___________ (#1) https://www.yelp.com/biz/birria-landia-flushing-flushing (#2) https://www.yelp.com/biz/soft-swerve-tangram-flushing (#3) https://www.yelp.com/biz/joju-tangram-flushing

I came here today to show my support for Black Label Donuts's Pop Up at this food court! My friend and I waited over 2 hours as we inch by inch got up to the register. I saw many of my peeps such as Raymart (luckily was the first batch of people to get their hands on BLD's donuts), bumped into Lesie, and Lillian (so sweet to offer us samples of her 5 Spice Chocolate Hot Cake Donut and Rosemary Lemon Olive Oil Hot Cake Donut...thank you darling) + Harris. This was an enormous turnout and the line was all the way from the bottom of steps by the elevators and side doors of Queens Crossing. When we were so close, someone came over with a sampling tray of 5 Spice Chocolate and Raspberry Chocolate. I liked the Raspberry Chocolate ::sad face:: the last one went home with someone that was ahead of us and another couple. I got a hug from my friend Richard Eng, the magnificent creator of Black Label Donuts. My friend ordered Honey Crisp Chai Hot Cider...beautiful presentation and don't cover it with a lid...I had a sip of hers...very refreshingly tasty I got a Matcha Pistachio Old Fashioned (couldn't try because of my allergies), a 5 Spice Chocolate, and a Rosemary Lemon Olive Oil (I preferred this one over the lemon curd one). I love his donuts with a filling more but the hot cake donuts were yummy especially Rosemary Lemon Olive Oil! This coming July will be marking the 3 years that I have been a fan of Black Label Donuts woooohoooooooo! SHENG JIAN BAO - 9.99 These were made to order, freshly pan-fried alongside at least 50 other buns. They're pretty small, maybe two to three bites each, but they come out piping hot, which is when they're best eaten. The skin was thin but held up well to the filling and broth without any spillage issues. The pork filling was so juicy, and the broth was sweet and rich with pork flavor. My only complaint was that the top part of the bun was a bit stale rather than fluffy. Besides that, these were incredibly delicious. If we weren't on a food crawl, I definitely could have eaten a whole plate of these on my own, if not more. This spot was easily one of my favorite stalls of the entire crawl, and I can definitely see why people love it so much. 8/16/2026 Flushing Food Crawl #7 of 11

(#1) Yet some of the most interesting businesses are beginning to take shape here and certainly some of the more delicious options in the Flushing foodisphere. If one isn't reading the signs on the outside, Landmark Quest's lineup is similar to a lot of other stall driven spaces in the hood: dig a little further and find a lot of gems. Since businesses come and go (#2), the spaces are continually being filled with new concepts all the time. Virtually every stall is Chinese owned and operated. The big attraction for most is Joe's Steamed Rice Roll (https://www.yelp.com/biz/joes-steam-rice-roll-flushing), which is easily one of Flushing's most popular food stalls at the moment. Next door is another location of Qinjin Taste (https://www.yelp.com/biz/qinjin-taste-%E7%A7%A6%E6%99%8B%E5%91%B3%E9%81%93-flushing-2), followed by Taiwanese dessert haven Crystal Ice (https://www.yelp.com/biz/crystal-ice-flushing) along with good ol Toofy Duck (喵喵鸭) and newcomer Hunan SuoFen (湖南嗦粉). Across the way is also the popular Taiwanese dessert stall, Happy Wheelie (https://www.yelp.com/biz/happy-wheelie-%E9%96%8B%E5%BF%83%E7%B4%85%E8%B1%86%E9%A4%85-flushing), which recently rebranded as simply "Taiwan Wheel Cake." Not all the stalls have seating and with the exception of Joe's, most are take out friendly. Cash is king as always and a little Mandarin will go a long way. Otherwise, a little pointing should do the trick. Then there are a slew of other businesses ranging from a dance school and beauty to currency exchange and computer repair. As previously noted, all signs are out in the front for each individual business. I am hopeful this place will eventually have a steadier flow of traffic; it all starts with this review.
