That thought is very easy to have because my experience has been great at all Publix stores, and they are branching out further north. I personally think they have better customer service than Wegmans and definitely have better fried chicken (Mardi Gras wings) and sandwiches than many grocery stores. What I like is their commitment to cleanliness and consistency across their chain. It reminds me of HEB in that you do not see employees just standing around. The people who work there are always busy but never so busy that they do not take the time to ask if you need help. There is no issue of trying to pretend they do not see customers or an issue of constantly on their phones.

After standing at the sandwich for 10 min while the person behind the counter was having a conversation with a management comparing note on who had the most memorable upbringing, I was finally acknowledged. The lady behind the counter asked " you want a sandwich "? Before I could reply the other person came back to ask another question about their previous conversation. At this point my child and I decided to leave. We exited receiving the same greeting as we entered,NONE. I will definitely continue to patronize Publix, however this was my first and last time going to this particular location.

The smell as soon as you walk in the place was wonderful. The smell of fresh food aroma almost like a good dinner. All the food look extra fresh. The staff was very professional and friendly, they allow you taste before you buy. The store was very clean and everything was well organized. We thought they were out of oysters Rockefeller because they were out of stock. We asked the seafood guy and he went to the back and bought out more. Everything was lovely and we tasted a few cakes at the tasting table and checked out smoothly. I would tell anyone who asked this is an excellent establishment .

Food Lion recently discontinued allowing the use of the dollar store coupons which is very disappointing especially in this time of ever rising prices. They offered their own $5.00 coupons for a few weeks, but it looks like these have also been discontinued. I have been a loyal Food Lion customer for years but will need to reconsider where I shop in the future in order to make sure I am getting the biggest bang for my buck.

I ordered online because I have the flu and am quarantining myself so I won't make others sick. I ordered online so I wouldn't need to go inside the store sick. Anywho, I selected the option of picking up for today between 8-9. My neighbor was kind enough to offer to pick up my order and drop it off on my porch. He arrives at 8 and I click the link that someone is there to pick up my groceries. The link stated an associate would be out shortly. 15 minutes go by, then 20 minutes go by.... No groceries. I tried calling 4 times and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone either. 30 minutes go by and my neighbor goes into the store where he is advised that no one who brings out the to go orders even arrives for work until 9!!! I would like an explanation or excuse that I am willing to accept as to why 8-9 is even listed as an option when it isn't. It's fine if no one arrives until 9 but my gripe is that 8-9 shouldn't be listed as an option. What should have taken 20 minutes ended up taking an hour. It's unacceptable.

Needless to say, I had no choice but to call roadside assistance. I ended up waiting 3 hours for someone to come put my spare tire on. What made the situation even worse was being left alone in the parking lot by the Walmart employees with absolutely no compassion or concern for my safety or situation. I have never been this disappointed in customer service. A little compassion and willingness to help could have made a huge difference. Instead, I was left feeling completely abandoned.
