The Roxie in the Inner Sunset in San Francisco on Kirkham and 9th Avenue is a bit different . First of all it has three times the space and is more of a neighborhood Supermarket with aisles for drinks and food along with fresh produce. It also has a deli which somewhat mimics the Roxie at the Mission Terrace location. I had the roast beef sandwich and it was as good as the other Roxie location. At this Roxie's you find bottles of alcohol including an aisle of wine. They have chilled wine here. You can also get bacon , cheese , fruits , snacks, and veggies. There is quite the selection of loose end items you can pick up here. Overall a good place in the neighborhood to shop for drink and food. At the San Jose Avenue location in Mission Terrace you can see people line up for sandwiches by the Posse In the Inner Sunset is a different vibe at 9th Avenue and Kirkham location Roxie

In a rush to a dinner party/potluck? Not sure what to bring? Absolutely no time to prepare…read moreanything, but it's gotta be somewhat classy and not from a supermarket? Après Vous saved the day for me when I dropped in there right after a busy running-late-oh-so-hectic day before rushing off to the East Bay for a friendly potluck! On this quieter side of Taraval just a block or two off of 19th Ave is Après Vous.. Before you are long counters full of classic dinner entrees such as Meat Lasagna, Quiches, Pulled Pork, Beef Tri Tip, Roasted Potatoes, Rice Pilaf, Mixed Veggies, Mashed Potatoes, Roast Turkey and many others. The menu seems to vary daily, with a more basic menu on Saturdays. Closed Sundays from what I've observed. Parking is convenient right out in front, and so is transit, with the L-Taraval Light Rail line just outside too! Pricing seems in line with the fancier supermarkets, but I think it's fair for what you get. This is also a great place for a quiet meal by yourself or a companion, as there are a couple of small tables by the window where you can watch the world go by. It's a peaceful place with friendly attentive service. I look forward to trying this place out again anytime and exploring their selections!

We checked it out - quite a few hot items to choose from including desserts/sweets. The mushroom frittata was light but flavorful (about $5). The chicken cutlet ($14) was crispy and also flavorful - just wished there was a little more sauce. The price of both items were determined by weight. The person who helped us was friendly.

My favorites are the cheese roll, the chocolate thing and the almond cookie. All of the treats have the perfect balance of sweet and savory. And, they have stuff for breakfast, lunch and maybe even dinner. The customer service is great too. All of the cashers at the front are patient and kind to me when I give bills. They all ask how the day is going, and one gave me $2 off! The bakery is well decorated from the inside and out. They're tiny details like the cute, hand drawn 'Dog Parking' sign, the banners and drawings from other kids, and all of the carefully arranged baked goods. I think that Arizmendi is a part of my life that I will miss as an adult. I hope you enjoy their service as much as I do.

My friend has gone to the other location a few times and said the other one was better, but this is my one off experience with Arizmendi. Ranked from best to worst, we got the: - almond croissant: kinda dense for a croissant but simple, lots of filling - daily pizza which was triple mushroom with a sesame ginger vinaigrette: a little gimmicky, smelled stronger than it tasted, not bad but wouldn't reorder, kind of dry but love the crust - cheese roll: dry as is but probably better warmed up, tasted like the pizza crust - chocolate mint cookie: very crispy edge with a softer middle, personally was too crunchy for me bc I like a softer cookie, definitely needed more mint - cowgirl cookie: letdown, had high expectations but this was super dry and needed more mixins Open to trying more pastries here because there is a large variety and wish the daily pizza flavor on our visit was better. Prices are fair and there was a line that didn't take too long.
