Original review: So Almost Perfect is a chain with several locations. Prior to my visit to this Brockville location, I had only ever been to the Toronto location. I would say that the Brockville location is comparable to the Toronto location. Almost Perfect is a grocery store outlet. They sell items that are "almost perfect" like mis-formed chocolate bars, or broken cookies. They also sell items that are approaching their best-before date or discontinued products, like things in flavours that didn't sell well. Their prices are cheap, cheap, cheap. I got some kale chips that usually sell for $6.99 a bag at Loblaws for only $3.33 a bag (the "best-before date" was 3 months from the date of purchase, so not bad at all). They had lots of Udi's gluten-free breads going for $10 for 3 loaves. They had Annie's organic gummies for $2.99 a box. Inventory changes regularly, so it's a surprise with every visit :) This location is a stand alone store (not in a strip mall). There's an attached parking lot with free parking. Staff are super nice and helpful. They only take cash or debit. No credit cards. This place is awesome. If I lived in Brockville, I would go every week!

When you pick up the salami, check to see if there's a skinny plastic sleeve on it. For some reason, the manufacturers seem to double-cover these things; that's something I've seen even at the grocery chains. Most of these places will allow you to try a slice before purchasing it. The clerks here are pretty good about this. It's not that humongous of a store, and no seating is provided inside, but they do offer a sandwich bar, where you can order specialties to go. You're not required to pick a number to get service, but it does get busy in here. The shop has a cement floor, with display cases laid out in front of you as you walk in. All the meat is displayed on clean displays. I will definitely go back.
