I used to live here when it was called Doylestown Meadows. My family and I compared rent prices to…read moreStonington Farm and we found that this was the better deal, more space, more centrally located to town, accessible with the DART shuttle bus, within walking distance of the center of town. In addition, they have a nice pool to use in the summer but everyone uses it, but it's great for a dip or even a lap or two in the heat! They have a fitness center too which I think that they should definitely upgrade the machines on but it was good enough for me to use with a personal trainer. They have coin operated laundry machines on each floor and the leasing office was rather responsive to maintenance requests, we didn't have too many issues with maintenance when I was there. For the most part the staff were very helpful, sometimes a bit smug but I wish that I had stayed with them rather than move to center of town in my last year living in Doylestown. Mike Johnson was a fair landlord and easy to deal with, what a mistake it was for me to leave that more large, spacious apartment for a smaller apartment in the center of town with a horrible private landlord, I wish that I had stayed there! My favorite staff member was Corky, the older maintenance guy, so friendly, funny and sweet. He was always so kind and caring, I miss him! I really enjoyed living in Doylestown Meadows, I have since moved to Philadelphia but it was a nice apartment and I have many happy memories of my days there. It was a bit awkward being one of the few younger tenants since many people living here are older and it felt a bit cliquey. I'm not sure why this property attracts so many older people but it would have been nice to have more tenants with families around my age. I miss Doylestown a lot. I enjoyed my time here. I enjoyed it more when it was Doylestown Meadows before MMC took over and made it The Metropolitan. They used to have a beautiful sign out front, probably hand painted and they took it down with new management, what a shame. I did enjoy the free tote bags at Christmas, I still have many of them! I hope they're doing well!!!!

Her apartment was outdated and poorly maintained, with wrinkled carpet that posed a tripping hazard and plumbing issues that were never fixed. When I had to call EMS, they struggled to use the confusing lobby call system (a common problem), and couldn't fit a stretcher down the hallway--she had to walk out in pain. Despite all this, management charged us for an extra month of rent after she left, even though the unit will sit empty for renovations. We expected more compassion for such a long-term tenant. Not a place I'd recommend for seniors.

One thing I don't like is the parking. They put in two new lots, easily 40-60 new spaces total, along with issuing parking stickers to residents. But if i come home past 10pm on a weekend there is nowhere to park. I've had to park in the county parking garage a half mile away near the court house. Also the two ladies who work in the "tenant relations" (or whatever) office; You cant go and pick up a package without them getting nosy. Speaking of packages, they are only open till 5pm, so good luck getting any packages at all. The landlord Bob is gracious and takes care of things quickly. Guy keeps the place together. Would recommend to college students or those starting out/elderly looking to downsize. Not really kid friendly. Not for any reason, just boring for a kid I would imagine. Pet friendly! But does not smell pet friendly! :)

I have never lived in any apartment building that showed more concern for its residents than Center Square. My children are thrilled that I'm here. The residents, young and old alike, are so friendly and respectful to one another. I intend to stay as long as I'm capable of caring for myself with a minimal of assistance. It's the best move I've ever made.
