The worst experience that I ever had in US. To be clear - I didn't get a chance to see this doctor…read morebecause of the receptionist in her office (17100 Collins Ave). Extremely rude and unprofessional ladies. Very unattended, unwelcoming staff. The first question was - "what is your insurance"? - Florida blue. Their answer was: "we don't accept this insurance". I asked - are y sure? because I found you on the Florida blue web cite. They rolled their eyes and said: "okay, let me check if you already here". When she was checking my ID and insurance they were talking between each other about one patient, that was a "piece of s...", called this patient really bad names. I felt really bad for this guy and disgusting because of the behavior of these receptionists. I didn't get the service, because they weren't interested in this and left with nothing, except a really sad mood. So embracing to have ppl like this working in medicine.

Great Internal Medicine Doctor…read more I've been seeing Dr. Mora since 2009 where he helped me out a great deal. Since then he's moved locations to the building down the street, the office is bigger and more updated that his previous location. The staff is REALLY friendly, instead of calling me to the window for my information the receptionist walked out with a clipboard and handed it to me while taking my insurance card and picture ID. Seldom have I ever seen this happen at a doctor's office. I arrived 15 mins before my appointment and was out in an hour and a half, which was great, they don't double book. I was called in 30 mins after check in, the nurse took my vitals and weighed me. The ONLY thing that sucked was the blood pressure machine (automatic one) it has a death grip! Very friendly nurse, everyone knows how much it sucks to be weighed... It's like you're being put on trial, any ways she was super relaxed and chill. I was put in the room to wait for the doctor, roughly 10-15 mins later he came in. Dr. Mora is very thorough and spends a great deal of time with each patient. He's very caring and offers alternatives to whatever your ailment is. Check out is a breeze since everything is digital he had all my prescriptions ready to go as soon as he exited the room.

After waiting another hour, I was finally told that the doctor would not be coming in today. My time was completely wasted. If a doctor is unavailable, patients should be notified as soon as possible. Being checked in, taken to an exam room, and left waiting for an hour before learning that I would not be seen reflects terrible communication and poor coordination. Patients make arrangements and set aside time for these appointments. Our time deserves respect. I understand that unexpected situations happen, but that does not excuse leaving a patient waiting without an update. As a new patient, I expected professionalism, clear communication, and basic consideration. Instead, this visit left me frustrated and with very little confidence in how this office is managed.
