If your passion is history + filmmaking, this is the spot for you. If you love early films, they have silent movie screenings accompanied by improv piano players that are separate from just visiting the collection of vintage cameras and stunning old movie posters- extra large and extra colorful ones. I only ended up here because my husband is an architect and Renzo Piano designed this petite museum and archive. Note this is on the site of a former movie house and bonus! Auguste Rodin designed the two figures on the exterior front facade when he was a student. Wow. Beautifully done space and likely for the geeks of this industry only, as the collection is extremely narrow in focus. But again, if old movie cameras are your thing, you'll be in heaven here. read more
