While stopping at the visitor center and chatting with a wonderful and helpful local, we asked about a place to eat. I think that she thought since we were Americans, that perhaps we might eat like the typical American. We found ourselves in the pleasant Plaza Mayor and went into the adjacent restaurant. This was only a couple of days after Christmas, so there were only a couple of groups in the place and most of the town was pretty dead. We both ordered the several course menú.
