The flavor combo together is unreal. This dish sings! Whenever we're in Zaragoza we make sure to come to this restaurant and I must order this dish. I wouldn't be lying if I told you we purposely stopped in Zaragoza on a road trip just for this dish! On a one night start t we actually came for dinner and again for lunch before we had to go. But the ambiance and decor are all so lovely. This last time what the first time I visited as a parent with kids and the staff were so kind and accommodating, especially when my baby girl was crying. The proprietor, Paco, is very friendly and accommodating. He made an amazing vegetarian meal of charcoal grilled vegetables for my girlfriend despite the fact that we could only communicate in a mixture of broken French and Spanish. This is a place to go for the real authentic experience of eating like the locals do. Paco places the bottle of brandy, wine, etc. on the table for you to pour yourself. You tell him what you like and he and his mother make it for you. Very reasonable choices. Don't be confused when you first enter a small seating area; there is a very cool cellar bar downstairs and a balcony with an amazing view of the Pyrenees for you to eat your dinner by. After using Yelp for several years to find good places to eat I felt compelled to write a review for O'Cado since it wasn't listed on any review sites. If you are visiting Ainsa or Bielsa it is well worth the visit.

I think that I was successful in all of the items I picked and my SO was unsuccessful. Oh, please do not miss out on the warm chocolate creation with ice cream for dessert, splendid! I could hardy believe that the set price of this feast was just above 20 euros including bread, water and wine. We opted for another wine than the one included in the set menu and we were so delighted with the food, drinks and service after our dinner. While stopping at the visitor center and chatting with a wonderful and helpful local, we asked about a place to eat. I think that she thought since we were Americans, that perhaps we might eat like the typical American. We found ourselves in the pleasant Plaza Mayor and went into the adjacent restaurant. This was only a couple of days after Christmas, so there were only a couple of groups in the place and most of the town was pretty dead. We both ordered the several course menú. The soup that they started with was perfect for the mountains. My main was some kind of lawyered pastry with meat as I recall. The whole meal was good, service was attentive, and the several hundred year old building certainly had character. If you find yourself lost in the mountains, you won't go hungry with the generous "American" size portions here.
