New Thai place. Woo!! Is it bad that I actually remember old store that housed this new gem? Well, it was a clothing store. So maybe.. Anyways, about Fomo. Ambience is ok, nothing really special. Menu, on the other hand, was very nice. It's organized very neatly (my OCD tendencies are pleased). From small bites, to sharing platters, to main dishes. It will serve all the apetites. Food was good. Special mention goes to Duck Larb.. Was so delicious that I'm willing to ignore tiny bone pieces found in it. Pork belly with Red curry was definitely nice as well. Som tum with green papaya was just ok. Bit too deep-fried for me. Overall, I will definitely go back and try few other things from the menu. (Also, the fact place was full of Thai people does say something about food, doesn't it)

Organised a team lunch here and was really pleased with the experience. There menu was diverse with plenty of options for everyone. I had the emerald duck which was succulent and came with a side salad and fried tofu. The Basel chill chicken was also delicious with a good amount of fresh chilli for a bit of a kick. The staff were friendly and service fast and efficient. I really liked the bright fun decor and attention to detail. Long benches with stools mean that this can be a great spot when dining solo or for big groups.

Very solid 4 Star great Thai food. They even made me authentic Thai omelette. I'll be back for quick comfort Thai food.

This place always satisfies my thai food cravings. Their papaya salad is the best along with their grilled beef with chilli dip. I'm salivating just typing this. If you like a sour kick then the tom yum soup range will do the trick. Overall i really enjoy eating here and the price isn't too expensive

We ordered the pineapple fried rice, roast tenderloin and Thai iced pink milk.

Good modern interiors. Lots of options for thai food. Not so money options for vegetarians. They do have Pad Thai which is not on their printed menu for some odd reason. We were greeted with a funky old rag smell so hopefully that's a one time thing. We ordered the pineapple fried rice, roast tenderloin and Thai iced pink milk. Overall it was pretty good.

They also have a downstairs bar too with seating that was also booked and packed. Nice variety of dishes, chef curated plates that were visually pleasing to the eye. The drinks while good and unique were carefully measured and extremely small for the price points. 3 cocktails and I didn't feel buzzed. I feel like Australia is very big on preventing intoxication. One of the few places that had knowledgeable staff and to my surprise actually nice and welcoming. I tried the BBQ Salmon wrapped in a banana leaf, braised beef curry, and a couple of drinks. Rather your traveling or a local who hasn't tried this place, it definitely should be on your radar. I was traveling from California and ChinChin was by far the most memorable dining experience I had.

Good menu with a lot of interesting options. Tried three different appetizers and the winner was the sashimi. Wonderful flavors with king fish. The butter chicken with curry was excellent. Just wish it came with some naan to soak up that wonderful sauce. Cocktails are creative and great. Just a bit measured and small, but I get it. Would dine here again and again.

All their serving dishes (plates, vases, tea pots, etc) have their logo stamped on them. Oh snd the pots were elephants. I ordered the chargrilled beef. Wasn't sure what to expect since the description said grilled to perfection. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was it grilled just right for me (medium to medium well), the portion was large and tasty. I thought it would taste salty with the soy sauce marinade and over cooked but not a bit. The texture was good as well. The beef was served with vegetables on the side and a sweet tangy sauce. The latter could be the salad dressing or a sauce to dip the beef in. Either way, only the vegetables were questionable with regards to their freshness. I saw others order a curry dish that was served over a candle light to keep the dish warm. Nice touch. Rice is extra and it was either jasmine rice or coconut rice. Waitress said coconut rice was too oily for her so I picked the jasmine rice. Served in a traditional dish, the rice was very nicely done. Service is OK. The cashier (might be the boss) was constantly talking to the two waitresses In Thai. I need ask for plain water, they don't offer either. Very polite staff, then again, I find Australians very friendly all round. Now go have some authentic Thai food.

What I always order: beef massaman, green curry chicken, roti bread and coconut rice. I also love the coconut juice as they serve it with a big spoon and big chunks of coconut, so refreshing.
