We were greeted after we walked up to the ordering counter. I was up for eggs and got a fully customized frittata with mushrooms, onions, ham and mozzarella cheese. My wife got one of her favorites, biscuits and gravy with bacon. We picked a table and seated ourselves, got our coffees, Steel Mill coffee, their exclusive, with at least as many options as those other just coffee places. In just a short time our meals were up and they were great. Check out the photos, hot, fresh and totally tasty. Serve yourself with condiments and dinnerware. We'll be back. It was great.

Dave's Coffee Cake

I was first introduced to these delicious coffee cakes at the Kane County Flea Market in Illinois…read more Dave's Coffee Cake had a nice booth set-up where they happily offered samples. Chocolate Chip and Raspberry are my favorites. The moistness (yes, I know, we all love that word) can't be beat. So good. These cakes are rich and aren't healthy for you by any means, but they do make a great once-in-a-while splurge. Dave's is always offering deals, coupon codes (if buying online) and more. Really, the more you buy the better the deal. If I'm remembering correctly, the coffee cakes freeze well (if you are buying multiples). They would make great host/hostess gifts, or gifts in general. Would be great added to a brunch buffet. Highly recommend.

There are the usual deli sides (tater salad, slaw, Mac n cheese, chili, and soup). Some locally-made sweets and a ginormous peanut butter cup...all that and bags of chips!! My Rueben wrap was solid and hubby's sandwich was gone before we were in the entrance ramp back to I-88. It sustained us for the day and was a much-relieved departure from the usual fast-food chain burger or chicken. The employees were pleasant and patient with customers. Got our order correct and completed quickly! Whether you are on I-88 or a local, pop in to Arthur's Garden deli for a sando. For the same amount of time as a big-box store, you can enjoy a custom sandwich and support the local economy!

I was reading their Facebook reviews, and I will never give my money to this business! The owner is horrible to workers, and I guess insults them if they had a disability. Also saw lots of reviews of people saying nothing tasted fresh, some with pictures of products with mold. Was planning on stopping here from the glowing reviews on Yelp. I searched for them on Google, and saw the 3 star rating on Facebook, and I am passing! read more
