They coordinated every detail seamlessly--even amid severe weather--ensuring that the wake, funeral Mass, and burial proceeded with dignity and calm. Their organization, responsiveness, and steady presence allowed us to focus on honoring my dad rather than worrying about logistics. We are deeply grateful for their support and highly recommend Doherty & Sons.

Now this is someone who is, most definitely, in the right business). Our sweet waiter, Ken, was none too shabby either. He even allowed me to snap a pic of him. Sis stuck to breakfast fare and pronounced her short rib-stuffed omelet, rife with tender meat and an abundance of white Cheddar, the best she's ever had. I can't say enough about my burger, which had absolutely perfect flavor combinations: The patty, served between a buttery bun which seemed to me like a cross between a croissant and a brioche roll, was cooked to my specified doneness and topped with the most delicious onion jam, Boursin cheese, ripe tomato slices and baby greens, This burger was one of the best I've ever eaten. And the fries (skin-on, shoestring style)... Let me just say that you will eat the entire pile. Let me also say that the service pace was perfect as well. So if you're looking for an outstanding breakfast or brunch, Altea is the place to go. We look forward to many more here.

My family had previously used the "other" funeral home in Dedham and had a less-than-positive experience. When our latest loss occurred, we decided to venture elsewhere. Donna, Lauren and Brian gave our family first-class, top-notch service. Most of all, they honored the member of our family the way that we wanted, and the way she would have wanted. It is the worst experience in the world to lose a family member. Folsom Funeral Services made the experience as bearable as possible. Thank you.

Russ May had…read morea fine reputation, but like many family businesses eventually the owner passes away and the business is sold. In 2002 May Funeral Home was purchased by Folsom Funeral Home. I am writing my review for May Funeral home after it was purchased by the Folsom family. When my father passed away, we called May-Folsom to fulfill a pre-paid funeral contract that had been purchased earlier. In short, the experience could not have been better. We dealt primarily with Brian Folsom and Donna Arthur. Both were always professional, working with the family to see that the wake, memorial service and internment went off seamlessly. Like many public events, there is much work involved in the funeral process that goes on behind the scenes. May-Folsom anticipated every need, was always there during the wake, memorial service and internment, often not visible, but always there. Brian and Donna were easy to communicate with, quick to respond to my questions - in person, by email, or by phone. I could not be more pleased with the funeral services that May-Folsom provided for my family.

They did a great job hand holding us through the whole process - obituary, casket, service, florist, mercy meal and cemetery. Without their help and guidance, I'm not sure we would have had the time to grieve. Eddie was exceptionally kind and patient with our family during such a difficult time. He had worked with many other Albanian Americans families, so he knew how to prepare for and accommodate all of our cultural practices'. Working with the right funeral home during a stressful time is extremely important!! P.E Murray Funeral Home worked within our budget while still meeting our families needs. I'm so glad we had the pleasure of working with them. They took the best care of our grandfather! Thank you Eddie and team!!

Bob listened to my mother's wishes and never tried to sell us anything in excess of the modest services we required. The service involved transporting my mother in a hearse from Needham, MA to Iselin, NJ. Bob was there every step of the way. He and a colleague came to bring my mother to the funeral home at 5AM and treated my mother gently and respectfully. He actually drove the hearse himself and remained for the entire graveside ceremony. I am currently in a lot of pain and attended the burial in a wheel chair. I was terrified of the wheelchair tipping over on the uneven ground of the cemetery but Bob, who is a large and strong man, took control of my wheelchair and skillfully got me to the graveside. He told me after the burial, that ours one of the most wonderful of the services he'd witnessed. Ours was very modest, with friends and family speaking from their heart about my mother, some with prepared scripts, some just impromptu. Also, my mother wanted a simple pine box but the coffin was actually attractive and we were surprised that they'd taken that much care with it. Everything went as smoothly as we could have asked for. I recommend Eaton Funeral Home and Bob Timmerman in particular.
