Specializing in sandwiches, soup and salad, but only open from 7am to 4pm, the Garden of Eat-In is THE town's hot spot for lunch. So it can get pretty crowded sometimes. Since parking near the entryway is on a main road and spaces are very limited, expect that you'll probably have to park a little farther away and walk. But folks here sure seem to think that all this hassle is all worth it. I didn't eat there a lot, since it was a little spendy for me (especially with my kids accompanying). That doesn't matter much, though, since the Garden of Eat-in's customer base mainly consists of the town's working professionals anyway. (Which is why my husband ate many quite satisfying lunches there... and a heckofalot more than I did, the lucky!) From what I can recall, this deli does offer a few gluten-free options on the menu. By personal experience, I've seen this restaurant chosen by the gals for both farewell send-offs and baby showers; selected to provide catered sandwiches to feed the itinerant Shakespeare in the Park troupe; and religiously frequented by the traveling telecommunications guys who refuse to eat anywhere else. Thumbs up to this little gem of the Treasure State.

Service was excellent here and the cashier was friendly and welcoming. Sadly, the sandwiches were…read morenot up to standard. The meats seemed slimy and there was simply way too much chipotle mayo on my wrap. The reuben was not toasted. With some attention to detail this could be a go-to spot. Dining area was clean but could use some

We had a cheeseburger with onion rings and a mushroom burger. Both were great. Strongly recommend the onion rings. They were delicious. We had a huge slice homemade chocolate chip peanut butter pie to go for $4.50!

I must say that I've ALWAYS been impressed. The restaurant has a small-town feel that you don't find much any more. If you're looking for chrome, glass and lots of flash, this probably won't be your place. If you're looking for a relaxed, small-town atmosphere, exceptional food and phenomenal service, well, you've found your place. I'm typically in Cut Bank in the mornings, so I can say without a doubt, that these folks have a knock-out breakfast menu. I typically have the "garbage omelette", which checks all the boxes with me; it has every type of ingredient you can imagine and it is absolutely fabulous! The hash browns are awesome! They are a beautiful golden brown and crunch when you bite into them. There is an endless supply of coffee, brought by amazing down-to-earth waitresses who are always around making certain that all is going well and making sure your coffee is full. They are wonderful! Would I recommend the Big Sky Cafe? Absolutely! Will I be back next time I'm in town? Without a doubt! Thank you everyone!!!

Whenever we go travelling the 1st thing we do at a new location is look for a good coffee shop. For…read morethe most part as we have travelled Montana we have found a fair number of coffee shops, but none have fallen into the category of 3rd wave. That's perfectly fine , but typically if I don't think they are going to feature single origin, light roast coffee's, I tend to go the opposite direction. (Ugggh! I sound so snobby) I get a flavored latte. Even doing this, I am surprised at how many coffee shops have burnt/overroasted espresso. When driving through Cut Bank, I wasn't sure if we would find any coffee shops at all . I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this little gem. The lady at the window was incredibly friendly. We wished we could have talked to her for much longer. The Iced latte that I ordered was perfectly balanced. Not burnt, not too sweet. Of course this isn't third wave coffee, but it would be ridiculous to expect that in a tiny town. They were friendly. They cared about their product, and they delivered on the promise of a good latte. That's more than I could say about dozens of other coffee shops in much bigger places. If we ever find ourselves in Cut Bank again, we will make a point of coming back to Latte Da.
