The technician called the day before my appointment and said he could not charge (add coolant) to the system because it was illegal to add more to a leaking system. This is a blatant lie... While the EPA banned R22 coolant, the R410-A I have is completely legal to add. The Company diagnosed a leak but I did not have the over $2,000 to fix it right now given the COVID crisis. Both the technician and the owner Rick had the nerve to question whether or not I have the means to spend the $2,000. The Company had added coolant the last 2 years without issue. I mentioned that my son has asthma and it would take a while to get another appointment. When I finally spoke the rude owner Rick he said it was "not worth his time" to just add the coolant and he hung up on me. I was absolutely shocked by how rude both the technician and the owner were.
