That being said, this park is close by and I've been here with #1 daughter's two sweet cockers (out grandpuppies :-) and with friends and neighbors so I'm go here from m time to take me. Here's some big news today (August 2, 2021) The City of Gulf Shores has noticed an increase in personal chairs and belongings being brought in and left at the dog park. For the safety and enjoyment of our park users, we are going to install permanent park benches. Moving forward, in order to adequately maintain the dog park, we ask that all personal items, including chairs, be removed from the dog park DAILY. We are committed to providing a beautiful, safe, and well-maintained facility for our residents and pets. All items left in the park after August 13th will be removed and disposed of. Our fence still has some damage from Hurricane Sally, but be on the lookout for repairs to that soon! #LeaveOnlyPawPrints Bottom line: It's a great little doggie park but yo can start leaving your chairs at home and if you've left one here, come got it.

I've spotted alligators, blue heron, turtles, lizards.. very cool! All the campsite hosts are friendly and our check-in was very easy and we were also greeted with welcoming service. We chose campsite number 479 right next to Mission Lake and the pedestrian bridge that takes you to the ocean. This campground is so clean, beautiful, and offers multiple bathrooms with showers and restrooms. The bathrooms are clean and the showers have enough space to shower and change. Each campsite I've seen has a dump station and water, which has come in handy. There's also Wi-Fi! There's also a restaurant on the campgrounds and tomorrow night we are going to listen to live music and have a few drinks. I've truly loved my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone! We were only going to stay for four nights but we extended it to a week because we are having such a great time.

The WiFi is not adequate for the entire campground and definitely needs a major upgrade. Spend some money on the WiFi upgrade to account for the fees associated with booking a campsite.

Although it only has a single gate entry, it does have some incredible new fencing as well as just about everything else a dog park could need. It even has a self-filling water bowl or maybe I should say small Lake. The park is obviously very new, so everything is bright and shiny. They have a tremendous old-growth tree as well as a few agility items spaced here and there along with a couple half pipes for the dogs to run through and hide under. They have two nice benches in the park and the way it's laid out there is room for your dog to get a good run. There are multiple parking spots right in front of the dog park.

Talk to GOD and get a…read moreDOG! #ReflectDogs Love & Forgiveness Okay, although this dog park is much larger than it looks, and it is definitely a solid four plus dog Star Park, it was while we were at the park, this park in particular, that the webmaster notified us that Young Lady's animal rescue charity was now up and live!! So I got an extra point for that alone!! It was the culmination of a two-year journey through well over 1000 dog parks that she took me on, so I could really see the love and forgiveness in action. This park has just about anything and everything you could want. From what appears to be a complete Forest up in the back corner too wide open area for them to run in and the rest of the park. There are plenty of water faucets and poop bag dispensers and trash cans and trees and places to sit. The people were more than friendly and the dogs all had a great time!! The Gated entry is very easy to use and has a concrete slab. There is also a nice concrete pathway that takes you out to the sitting area so if you have Mobility difficulties or are in a wheelchair, you can easily make it out to the seating area. All the wood benches have nicely carved memorials in them. The small dog park is bigger than most big dog parks. My only question would be, who decided putting the squirrel feeder right in the middle of the dog park was a good idea, don't get me wrong, I love it!! I'm just not sure the squirrels knew what they were in for when they headed down into it to get a nut!! Anyway this park is absolutely incredible and a very fitting park for us to launch the animal rescue charity!!

I believe the entire park is 1.7 miles, I did not walk the whole thing. It was decorated for the holidays. Has a large pavilion with benches. There are dog waste bags & trashcans, but they are few & far between. A few benches & chair swings here & there. I did not see a restroom, but there was a large handicapped accessible port-a-potty in front of the public works building, which is across the street from the small parking lot. I am unsure if skateboarding is prohibited or not, I saw no signs stating that, but I could be wrong. This park is pet friendly, dogs allowed, I saw other people walking their leashed dogs.
