I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at this Allina location -- because it was…read moreoutstanding from start to finish. The entire care team and lab staff not only made the process smooth and efficient, but they made it memorable in the best way. From the moment I arrived, Andrew from the care team set the tone. He was warm, professional, and welcoming as he got me settled for my appointment. Then I met with Dr. Fischer, who exceeded my expectations. He really listened, took the time to answer my list of questions, and offered thoughtful, experience-based advice. I never once felt rushed -- instead, I felt heard, understood, and cared for. Before heading out, I had a lab draw with CeCe, who was an absolute delight. Usually, that part of a visit is quick and quiet, but she made it feel personal and comfortable. Her calm and friendly demeanor wrapped up the visit on such a positive note. I left feeling genuinely grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and care I experienced here. I'm so glad this is now my new primary office.

The only way they got a one star is because of two people - Dr. Botzet and the lab tech (I don't…read moreremember his name). They made my visit comfortable and worthwhile. First off, I made a last minute appointment for a sprained ankle About three hours before the visit. The only place that was able to squeeze me in was this location for Allina network. My GPS took me on a goose chase so I was late about 15 minutes. I called the front desk for help on how to navigate the area and I was able to find it. The lady was very patient with me. My first impression pulling up I was impressed by how big the building was and I never saw it before. Once I got to the front desk, that all changed. The chubby lady had an attitude and said right off the bat that the doctor may not be able to see me even though I apologized for being late due to the GPS. There was absolutely no empathy while I'm over limping to get to the door. After, she checked me in, she told me I had a co-pay which I only had cash on me including $100 bills because I planned on going to the bank. She said that she didn't have change and asked the girl next to her if she had changed and she said no. She thought she was doing me a favor by saying that "just this one time, I'll charge your account" so I can pay it online. It's not my fault that they don't have change. And there have been plenty of times that I've been to the doctor and did not have to pay my co-pay right upfront and was able to pay it ahead of time or after my visit, so she wasn't genuine with that favor. While I'm checking in, the nurse is standing there uninterested and like I'm wasting her time. I didn't get a warm greeting nor even any eye contact, just walked right back to the room. The room was filthy. There were nail shavings everywhere. The doctor came in within three minutes or so and was very gentle and loving. She actually cared to do her job. I got an x-ray and the guy took a bit of time, but he walked me through everything and was nice. I had to go back to the lobby/front desk to hand in my slip to go back to the doctors room. Again, the front desk had a snarly attitude. The other slip they needed to go back, the other girl laughed saying she accidentally threw it away. Really!? Once my nurse took me back again, her attitude changed for the better. She actually tried to connect with me. I will never go here again.

In the 1970s, my husband was injured in the Army and had knees that were so damaged that he had constant pain. In 2011, he saw a surgeon at Summit Orthopedics in Woodbury. He finally chose to have his right knee replaced and in 2013, he had his other knee replaced. It's now 2026 and my husband still is so glad he replaced his knees and rarely has any pain. Choosing Summit for his surgeries greatly improved his quality of life! Thank you, Dr. Gannon. In 2014, I had my right hip replaced at Summit Orthopedics Vadnais Heights location and last month in 2026, I had my left hip replaced there also. It's an amazing facility. Staff is so positive, caring and knowledgeable. I received physical therapy exercises to do at home before and after surgery. The Vadnais Heights location has amazing rooms, with meals coming from local restaurants. I had the hip replacement in the morning and left to go home by the afternoon. Two weeks after surgery, I'm moving around very well. I live in Lindstrom, so with the new Summit Orthopedics location in Forest Lake, I only have to drive a few miles for consultations or checkups. Thank you, Dr. Tollemar! My father also had his hip replaced with Summit in Woodbury. He had polio as a kid and had his hip replaced at a hospital in Bemidji. Unfortunately, the hip constantly dislocated. We brought him to Summit Orthopedics and had his hip redone and he had no problems walking or with dislocation after that. Thank you, Dr. Hoeffler! So, we highly recommend Summit Orthopedics. They have a protocol before and after surgeries that completely explains an upcoming procedure, what to do before surgery and what to do after surgery. Their staff calls before surgery to make sure you are ready for the procedure and to answer any questions. They also call to check up on us at home to see how were are doing and to answer questions. Summit Orthopedics is very impressive. We highly recommend it...

I should have read the reviews everywhere before going to this clinic. Their medical billing office…read moreis literally evil, and caused me to owe them thousands of dollars for no reason. They bill codes to ensure you have an out of pocket cost to them, despite it being a preventative and free visit at any other doctor in America, and then say "well, technically we have to follow the law". Technically, I will never go here again. I'm just sad I have to owe them for the rest of my life for a simple doctor's visit. Entira, this scam you're pulling with the medical billing codes has you lost 2-3 potential long-term clients (I was sending my foster son here too), who plan to stay in the area for a long time and are incredibly active and vocal in the community.

I didn't really look into and follow up. My experiences have gotten worse. I'm good and done with Entira. Disinterested, rushed appointments, therefore general recs and prescriptions. Patients must research and suggest treatment plans. Do not take patients' side effect or systemic effect concerns seriously. Communication is extremely poor; can't bother to respond to messages or transfer/authorize prescriptions when needed; prescriptions one has been on for years. You better hope it is not a lifesaving med, because if you run out it seems to be of no real concern for them to respond to refill or pharmacy transfer requests in a timely manner. Can't bother to return calls or update you in regards to any care- and this is the "Patient Care Coordinator". Marked/notes and referral in patient records, but neglected to inform me/update me about it at all. I only know because it is noted in Patient Portal; which I saw months after the fact- after having found my own specialist and begun care already. I'll be finding a new doctor and clinic.

I loved that; sometimes it really feels like plug and chug with some physicians; and I understand, they are being spread thin.
