I was sort of in a daze (I had been to Bon Iver's concert the night before) and my aimless wandering led me to discover they had Kip & Co linen sheets! A brand I had been trying to get my mittens on for a while, winter was coming** - so I bought a beautiful crushed blue quilt cover to cocoon myself in bed. The lady working was so lovely and helpful, and we had a rather loud squealing moment when we realised we had BOTH BEEN TO THE SAME CONCERT. Their descriptions online were completely accurate - they pointed out a stain in the arm of the sofa which was not even that noticeable when it arrived - and their prices were totally fair. They delivered, on a Saturday too, and bang on time - even giving me a call 24 hours before to discuss the time. All in all, from order to delivery, we were sat on our new sofa with 3 days and all my fears subsided! It was clean, comfy and the TV unit was actually a really strong and well made thing - no plywood or dodgy loose connections! So, seriously recommend this place and I am so happy I have found somewhere I can buy from again and don't have to trawl through the awfulness of Gumtree again!

It's all about the chairs, they sell the coolest chairs ever, it is truly space age furniture from the future. To walk past that shop without stopping is impossible. All up the walls they have giant shelves displaying their collection of clear Perspex coloured chairs. All their products are by cutting edge designers, their products include funky lamps, there is one I particularly want called Blob M and is well a yellow blob of the letter M, and another amazing lamp constructed from oak and iron named Brave New World. Also they have really cute little gnome tables (the gnome sits holding up the table top) If you are looking to escape reality, make a new one. Go to Kartell and fast track your way to the future.

It's a good source of outdoor furniture - both the plastic weave stuff and more traditional teak. Staff are attentive and interested - they want to chat through your needs at length and propose alternatives and ideas, which is useful if you're not set on a certain path. Lead times are quite long - and can stretch out. Despite enjoying the shopping experience here, we actually bought elsewhere, though paid considerably more than we would have at Dickson Avenue - just a choice we made in favour of higher quality and durability, though Dickson's products were good value for money.
