My mum would likely call them clutters rather than treausures, but each to their own. If it makes your home a home, then it's a treasure. And theres some lamps. I guess as a store, it mike lack some use, but as a perfumed, confortable, and quiet oriental tresure hunt, it's a nice place to stop into. And there are some bags too. (In fact, this is the store where those crazy kids Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were snapped by the paps when they were in Sydney earlier in the year.) This shop is great for gifts and homewares like rugs and lamps. Everything is extra colourful, so be careful you don't get caught up in it like I did and end up walking out with a so-bright-it-hurts-my-eyes skirt I'll never wear again. There's a huge range of silver jewellery in the back cabinets, most of which are at reasonable prices.

One of the items that caught my eye inside were the cool asian print belts. Walking inside with my family I noticed an elderly couple inside who were being served by either one of the owners or sales assistants. The couple were looking at purchasing one of their delicate glass plates, with a leaf like pattern etched into the glass. Another of their nice pieces. The sales assistant was very knowledge about the plate, the company, where the plate was from and how it was made. After browsing the store for what seemed like another fifteen or twenty minutes though, no one had served us, not just me, but my whole family. In fact, it seemed more like we were ignored-I don't think we suited the normal pretentious, up-market clientelle the store owners and sales people were used to. Oh well, their loss. This store had some great items, though the service really let this place down.

Tablecloths with pretty floral patterns, A-line dresses, white ceramic trinkets, doilies, for the love of god. It's actually really cute. The colour schemes are great, I love the patterns they have, and they have some truly unique furniture pieces, the kind that you wouldn't expect to be factory-made. Intricate little vanities, white, ornate chests of drawers... that kind of thing. While any of this would look terribly out of my place in my living area, there are plenty who enjoy home décor of this sort, so if you're one of them, give it a look.

While a little heavy on the scented candles for my taste, there's a whole room of babies clothes, toys and gifts for kids, and a smaller one out the back which has a range of women's cotton nightwear of the white and floaty variety. There's also some women's clothing, also mostly of cotton, including some brands like Boom Shankar that I have seen priced much more expensively elsewhere. There's the odd real bargain hiding in here, as well as a few local and handmade items, including a small range of locally produced fudge locked away in a coolbox.

Alright I wasn't *really* looking for a human thigh-bone trumpet. But they really have one. And a 120 year old ceremonial Mogul helmet from Rajistan. I was actually in Kashgar perving on the jewellery when these and other unusual delights caught my eye. I don't think there is an emporium quite like this one anywhere else in Sydney. As well as the usual Nag Champa, Indian jewellery and mirrored cushions, Kashgar searches the world for unique and rare antiques, and has the most beautiful selection of rings I've ever seen in one of these types of Eastern emporiums. And it smells really nice.

Of course, there are practical benefits too. I saw a rack of kaftans, and who doesn't want a good kaftan? There were even fez's! Fez's! I've never even seen a fez in real life! They have some of the most magnificent jewelry, as well as the cutest dreamcatchers I've come across in a long while. I enjoyed the kid's cotton t-shirts with animals that pop out e.g. a printed elephant with floppy ears. If you're in the market for some silver jewelry, the designs are intricate and the prices are low. Come to think of it, the prices are low on everything. Much of the clothing was 15% off on the day I stopped in.

I imagine the pieces come from estate sales of well traveled collectors (that's what we have in the Michigan!). Price: Moderate Item: Many different types of items such as coffee/tea cups, pots, dining sets, wallets, key holders, toys, jewellery and so on. So much fun to just look around and check them out. Display: Bit messy in some area. I am looking for a nice teapot and I saw two pots but still not good enough. Those are 3.5 out of 5 points. I need to get 5 out of 5 points. I still have to keep looking for it. I found out some cool items such as wallets, pendants, tea cups and the set of cups and pot. When I have to get something for someone's birthday I will come back here to get one of those.
