This community is extraordinary. The campus consists of independent living spaces, senior housing,…read moreskilled nursing facilities, medical research facilities and dining facilities that are more like high-end restaurants than nursing home cafeterias! I had a broiled Seabass this evening with finger potatoes and roasted carrots, French onion soup and French vanilla ice cream that I would swear came out of a gourmet kitchen. There was a full bar in the Acacia Village complex with a surprising assortment of beer, wine and spirits. The residents of these various facilities seem authentically happy and there is plenty to do. I got to check out hydroponic greenhouses, a library, two different chapels, fitness centers and some historic sites in addition to a number of walking trails. I know many people here, although it is only my second time visiting. When it comes time for me to retire, I will strongly consider this magnificent facility.

ER felt like a walmart self check out where treatment is occurring in an uncomfortable (chairs are uncomfortable) and not private waiting room. It should not take hours to get a gurney in the ER. Was in waiting room for five and a half hours. Was told I would be admitted and that a bed was available to finally get that bed 10 hours later. ER Doc Dr Din was great. Wish I could say nursing staff was great. Was never given a call button and had to climb out of gurney with raised rails to reach call button to then wait 50 minutes for someone to come. Not good when you need to use restroom and you are connected to monitors and IV. This was common as man next to me had no call button and was screaming and cursing as he wet himself. Once, on floor rooms were spacious and beautiful nursing staff were great. Food Service not great and realize hospital food is not good but spent most meals trying to address incorrect food allergy that I did not have. Hospital Docs are a mixed bag...some are good while others should be looking for another job. Cannot recommend this hospital as when it comes to your health it is not about the beautiful room or new facility but the care and expertise of the staff that are treating you. I sure do miss St E's For handicapped visitor's it is challenging .... Not sure why they have EV spots upfront that should be for handicapped. Yes they have valet parking but no bench to sit and wait as it can take 20 to 30 minutes to get your car. Metal Detectors are difficult to navigate when your mobility is challenged and to exit having to take additional steps to exit is difficult as well.

The ER may have saved my life. They all worked hard and kept good data records. But Wynn needs to…read moreHIRE more medical staff so the POST-ER care can come together.

Is there a way to give zero stars? This place is running a scam so I advise everyone to watch out…read morefor it. I was admitted for rehab and ironically The Pines said there was nothing more they could do for me on the same day my insurance ran out. No one in my family was informed that my insurance was about to run out, that my rehab was finished nor that I would have to pay out of pocket for additional days. After my family did find out, The Pines would not immediately release me while running up my bill for about 10 uninsured (extra) days, charging about $380 a day. Even with the rehab The Pines is not worth anything near this. With a few exceptions the staff are the most uncaring and incompetent anywhere in the area. Where ever I went, I asked doctors, nurses and therapists, about The Pines and all advised to avoid the place. Please for your sake or the sake of your loved one, avoid this place and if you have been scammed call a lawyer!

The staffs are very nice, caring, and loving to her and to the other residents. They're very attentive. I think because it is a smaller facility that it really works out well. They're not overloaded with too many residents so they actually can be more attentive to each person. Her room is always clean and she's always clean also. Which tells me she gets bathe often. I do have a complaint about their food. It's terrible! A lot of the meals I have no clue what it is just because it looks terrible. I always bring food in for my gramma though, but I don't know how the residents can eat such bland and soupy looking meals. I truly think it's worse than the schools cafeteria lunches. I just wish they get better funding for better meals for the residents here.
